Classic Tony Basillio Blog Today Basillio discusses what's going on with Nu'Kese Richardson and then takes on the Knoxville sports media establishment. There is some work to be done in getting the Nu'Kese Richardson drama under control. I hope he understands the situation and stays. He will be a fine player, but he has to understand that this is a team and that there is no "I" in team. Jimmy Hyams is an assclown. Why don't people in Knoxville just stop listening to Hyams on the radio. Hardly anyone likes what he has to say. He is so anti-Tennessee, why should anyone in east Tennessee want to listen to him tear down the Vols on the air? You want to rid yourself of an on-the air personality like Hyams? Just stop listening to him and advertisers will pull the plug on his show. Also let the advertisers know what you are doing and why. The red-headed tuba player who never played football told radio listeners in Atlanta that the players were quitting on Lane Kiffin. What planet was he living on to surmise that? The Knoxville sports media hates the University of Tennessee and wants to try and destroy the football program because they have lost their source and male role model, who was fired one year ago today. If fans in Knoxville would wake up and change their own listening habits and be disciplined about it, they would rid themselves of these anti-UT elements. |

Hooker and Hyams are on the radio bellyaching about being lied to by Mike Hamilton about the black jerseys. Who in the hell do Hyams and Hooker think they are that Mike Hamilton has to tell them ANYTHING? Hooker and Hyams are anti-UT in their opinions and commentary, since Fulmer got fired a year ago today. :D If Hamilton tells them, then there would not have been a great surprise. That was half of the excitement, waiting to learn if they would wear black jerseys or not. Basillio smacked those two goobers right in the nose. East Tennesseans need to get smarter and stop listening to and stop advertising on that radio station and it's show. |
