Does not sound good, especially with recruits from his school in town.

Well, sounds like he wants out. Others said during the 4th Q romp he was sulking by himself... I, too, am curious.

someone on VC says he's catching grief from friends/family telling him he'd be starting at UF. FWIW.

I'm sure he is homesick and not used to taking a back seat to anyone in football. He will have to man up and understand that not everyone is able to be the man so early on in their careers.

If Nuke could actually catch a punt, maybe he'd be seeing more PT. I do think he should have seen the field more from the direct snap formation -- wasn't it Nuke who had a big run against Auburn on the first play?

Maybe he believed the hype? Nothing unusual, or out of the ordinary if that is the case.

His personal hype, or that from his family & friends? I'm sure you don't mean anything from Kiff because he has been mostly true to his mouth ... almost even beat the Gaters.

Kiff said that Freshmen would have an opportunity, and he has demonstrated that they do. This is why we see nearly a dozen freshmen making contributions, some starting. But, whatever hype Nu' Keese came in with is still mostly untapped, at least from what I've seen of his play ... and, he has made some fundamental errors that other Freshmen have not.

Has anybody actually heard that he's slacking off in the weight room? I've read this a couple of places since his unhappyness has been discussed and I've never heard anything about weight room, attitude, whatever......prior to now.

Until I actually hear something different, I'm going on the assumption that he's getting frustrated because he's not getting many minutes at wideout since Gerald and Denarious have decided to join the team and that he's not returning punts now (rightfully so as he appeared to be a turnover waiting to happen) - just kickoffs. He's just a kid and probably needs to do some growing up and I hope they get everything worked out. He's clearly a talent and I'm not sure how many more times we can fix the pahokie pipeline........

I'm beginning to wonder about his future at wide receiver. Look at what LK is recruiting at WR -- these guys are all at least 6-2, agile, and fast.

Nuke is 5-8, and though he runs well, the ball handling might not quite be there. I'm wondering if he doesn't fit the WR mold that is typical for the NFL and Lane's expectations.

But, yes, he's not playing WR this year and with this group of 2010 WR's coming in will he ever get a chance? Maybe Kiffin is trying to move him to DB or something like that and Nuke is resisting.

That's a good train of thought there Rev. He is awfully small for Kiffin's tastes.
