Both teams struggle on special teams. For all of those who think that Shane Beamer is a special teams guru, just look at what he has done, or should I say not done?, with the Gamecocks' special teams. He was bad news when he was a graduate assistant at UT under Fulmer and coaching special teams. Kiffin again points out that our special teams will get better when we get better payers. |

The biggest problem with our special teams will be solved with Palardy, with the athletes we have and those coming in we will be good on special teams next season. Good kickers make special teams look good and poor kicking cannot be overcome by having talent in other positions. |
