Kiffin spoke with George Plaster about the team thus far and they spent a lot of time discussing the true freshmen playing and how long it has taken them to get to this stage. Kiffin said their progress held the team back somewhat but it was something that had to be done. We are seeing the fruits of the process now. Thats part of playing freshmen.

Short discussion on Eric Berry. He said that because he is playing in a NFL defensive system under Monte, he will be ready to step right in and play immediately-this makes him even more attractive to NFL teams.

Berry is playing almost a LB role in the defense right now. He is not roaming the secondary for interceptions like he did under Fulmer, but he is helping the team more. Great unselfish player.
