Lane Kiffin was on "The Dan Patrick Show" on ESPN radio. Here are some of Lane Kiffin;s respoinses and comments made about Kiffin
I think that once Urban Meyer reads these, he is going to shit his pants and then crying to Mike Slive about getting his ass skinned and his vagina chaffed. :D Lane Kiffin is doing all of the right things to make this program great from cleaning it up, recruiting great players, to getting the academics of the players in order. It is a great plan and it is working well. |

The only time I was excited to talk about Fulmer is when he got fired. |

"We'll get the Florida Gators next year when they come here." GOOD. I'm counting on it. "Superman wont be there." BAD. There is no Superman. Don't treat Tebow like he is one. "Tennessee isn't going to rollover." GOOD. Kind of hard to beat them next year if you roll over. "We put the blue print out there on how to beat them." MAYBE. But in the unlikely event they go 14-0, then the blueprint likely will have to be redrawn. "Monte spent the summer on a gameplan for Florida." GOOD AND BAD. It starts treating UF as some supernatural team again, though. Can't do that. They're just a good team that has NEVER gone unbeaten. "We should be 3-0." NO. You should be 2-1. You needed a QB to be 3-0, and you do not have one. That's like me saying "I should have won the lottery." "There was a powerful message sent across to recruits Saturday." GOOD. "It's more fun to talk about Urban than the Raiders." GOOD . . . to a point. Don't want to seem obsessive. Better that Urban talks about Lane and Lane ignores it. That's when we will have arrived. "We had a true freshman strip Tebow of the ball." Like I said, he ain't Superman. Edited by CCCP, Sep 24 2009, 01:50 PM.

Tebow is the best college football player...ever. No, he's not superman in that he was not born on krypton and can shoot infared lightning bolts out of his eyes and fly, but he can play football like no other player we will ever play again. Dont treat him like he's superman...well, maybe. But you damn sure can't treat him like your average player, either. |

Tebow does things that no QB to ever play the game collegiately, has ever been able to physically do on a consistent basis. Tim Tebow is as close to being Superman as any collegiate player. He and Herschel Walker share the stage as the greatest collegiate players of all-time in my mind. |

I would put Tommie Frazier ahead of Tebow and list him 1a/1b with Walker. What Frazier did at Nebraska (MVP of 3 national title games) was spectacular. |

Well, I'd put Tebow ahead of Frazier...but I'm not going to argue with anyone for putting one of those two ahead of him. Frazier was amazing, too... |
