"Exactly how do Hyams and Wilkerson speak their blather with straight faces?"

Kiffin verbally spanks Hyams for multiple moronic questions during a press conference,
so he goes on the radio and implies the staff is more concerned with recruiting than winning games. All the
while, Wilkerson backs his halfwitted sidekick up all the way.

Great question.

How does the radio station allow them to say the things that they do and think that their station will get people to listen to their crap and even maintain any sort of relationship that affords them some inside information from the Kiffin staff and Lane Kiffin himself?

Hyams is going to learn fast that Kiffin isn't going to play nice like Filmer. Tough questions are one thing, and Kiffin likes mixing it up. But the snooze/sentinel were so in bed with the filmer regime that they don't know how to objectively cover this staff. Heck even a little homerism would be welcome imo.
