Usually if one of my teams is down, the other is up. Both the Titans and Vols lost. Texans had a great offensive scheme today. The Titans coverage schemes were very bad. That game was a perfect showcase of how NFL Offensive Coordinators use mismatches and match-ups, something lost on many collegiate OCs. |

The Titans secondary is supposed to be their strongest position. Not today. Most teams don't beat Finnigan on deep balls, Texans did. |

It was Michael Griffin and Chris Hope, who were getting their asses handed to them, not Finnegan. Finnegan probably played the best game of the Titans secondary, but that was not saying much. |

Good Griffen, I've heard of havin' Hope, but you can't start the season F'in'negan! :D Sorry, that was too fun to play with. |

the Texans suck ass - its not as if the Titans secondary hasn't been shredded twice - Pittsburgh and now Houston.. With the Jets up next things aren't looking tooo rosy. True Kyle Shannahan is a smart puppy and will be a head coach real soon - maybe after spending a couple years with his pappy. |

Lots of player talk that Chuck Cecil is in way over his head as Titans DC. Almost every member of the Titans secondary is upset that Cecil left them hung out to dry by not making adjustments. The Texans just kept flip-flopping sides of the field running the same plays and the Titans defense did not adjust to any of them according to the players. Got to credit the Texans coaches and players for taking what was there. Andre Johnson is the best WR in the game today. Add to this....those who criticized the Texans for drafting Mario Williams over Reggie Bush don't look so smart now. Mario Williams is a beast who took over that game yesterday. Again - the Texans are a horrible football team - no sugar coating that fact. Blown out at home by the Jets (and it appears that wasn't a fluke) - the giving up 31 to a less than stellar offensive team like Tennessee - that doesn't say much about Bush and company.. as stated a few days ago when Big Ben went Peyton Manning on'em and now the Schuab doing the same - something ain't quite right - and next up is a kid who may do the same - nevermind how good the Jets are playing on the other side of the ball. |

Chris Johnson rushed for over 1,200 yards as a rookie and close 1,500 yards total offense last season. The Titans added to theior repertoire at WR in the offseason. The 2009 offense is a different offense than that of the 2008 team.I would not call that a bad offense. |

aaaaaah okay - amazing stats - may as well toss in the winning record from last year - as well as the #1 seed going into the play-offs.. And your point? The high powered Titans offense needs to kick it gear with all these All Pro class WR's real soon. None the less - the Titans are gonna have to line up and play some halfway decent "pro-style" QB's - including this youngster chunking it down the field for the Jets.. |

Did you see A Johnson standing on the field next to any of the Titans DB's? He dwarfed them, he is huge compared to them. On top of that he is faster than any of them in football speed. The guy's a beast. |
