Tracy Wolfson, the sideline babe, ran hard for for Lane Kiffin right after the game was over.tShe tried hard to create a story about "singing Rocky Top all night long"by asking Kiffin about not getting to sing rocky top all night long. to which re replied "I can't hear you, Rocky Top is playing". :D :D

To the media......

and his last comment "we'll see them next year". he wasn't ruffled, and the team came to play. Urban Meyer gained respect for Kiffin, something he never had for Fatso

"If it wernt for bad luck, we would have no luck at all"

Its was a loss..........but I felt proud of the Volunteers today. Great game plan using about 1/3 of your play book due to the crompton factor.

BTW, what a hell of a slobber knocken blow J Jackson put on that UF receiver in the end zone. Thats TN FOOTBALL!

The future is good.

Guys, I've been listening to Gator radio and I'm telling you they are not happy! As a matter of fact, they're down right miserable. Awesome!

The talk on all of the sports stations tonight has been Tennessee and Lane Kiffin. You can not buy this kind of PR.

Mark May said on ESPN after the game, "Tennessee didn't try to win or lose the game, Florida played a gritty and tough game" .

Mark May also predicted that Florida would beat Tennessee by 40 plus points.

Mark May was made to look like the boisterous fool that he is and he did not like taking his medicine in front of a national audience.

Shove some crow au Kiffin your ass Mark May.

PR ? hell, Traci Wolfson went to the LOSING team's head coach after the game. This was right before that losing coach was pulled aside by Jeff Luc and Ron Powell to chat with them.

What the print media is saying.

Vols On The Verge
Quote:

"I can't sit here and tell you that we're happy right now," All-America defensive back Eric Berry said. "But we're on the verge of being really special here, and I think today showed some of that. We're not afraid of anybody, and we're going to keep getting better, so watch out.

Loss but not lost: Kiffin 'proud' of performance against Gators
Quote:

"They did so many different things and did them well,'' Tebow said. "Lane did a good job and (defensive coordinator) Monte (Kiffin) did a good job of scheming up the things we do.''

Geoff Calkins: Tennessee's Lane Kiffin exonerated at Florida
Quote:

"I think we have a powerful message for the country," said Kiffin.

How about them Fighting Seals?

And how about Kiffin, the center of it all, who went into the game as a national punch line and came out as a coach to be reckoned with.

Those Kiffin jokes don't seem so hilarious now, do they? Those Kiffin predictions/taunts don't seem so rash.

Column: Vols are left in a Florida funk
Quote:

That tells you how far UT football had sunk, first in the latter stages of the Phillip Fulmer era, then after the Vols' 19-15 home-field loss to UCLA last weekend.

Frankly, nobody could remember when — or if — UT had been such a prohibitive underdog.

Jay Mariotti:Florida Fails to Shame Lame Lane
Quote:

He was supposed to be road kill Saturday, a coaching pinata. Instead, he was wielding the stick again, irritating and even scaring Florida folks who were left to half-heartedly sing at the end, "Rocky Top, you'll always be, second in the SEC.'' No, this was not the party music that anyone had in mind, and when it was over, Kiffin left town with his limbs intact and a content look on his boyish, Dennis the Menace face. He even received a brief post-game handshake at midfield from Meyer, which was more a reflection of his rival's professionalism and dignity than any respect he might have gained for Kiffin.

Clay Travis:Meyer Misses Chance to Dismiss 'Papa Smirk' Kiffin

Kiffin starting something at Tennessee?
Quote:

“I think we have a powerful message around the country about what’s going on in Tennessee football,” Kiffin said, speaking directly to the five-star recruits of America.

“I think there is a real strong message about Tennessee football out there right now. And people who follow recruiting have noticed that.”

Florida scored more points, but this felt like a victory for Tennessee

Gators exposed as Kiffin gets last laugh, even in loss
Quote:

After the game, after his team extended its winning streak to a school-record 13 games, Meyer admitted he had to "lighten the mood" of his players in the locker room. Meanwhile, outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, about 100 loyal Tennessee fans lined the walkway to the team's buses and let out a roar when the coaching staff walked by.
"There's a lot of pressure on these guys and I felt it in there," Meyer said. "I'd rather be on that end than on, boy, great job, we lost by 10."
He may be on that end sooner than he thinks.

This was right before that losing coach was pulled aside by Jeff Luc and Ron Powell to chat with them.

I read where some Florida fans have posted that Powell committed to them yesterday. Even if that's true, it doesn't really matter. Our staff will get players coached up and ready for the next level better than any other program in the country. As a UT fan, did you ever feel that way before?
