Special Teams Situations To Follow

Special teams play under Phil Fulmer were as frustrating as anything that UT fans had to put up with during Fulmer's belly flop. As long as a Colquitt boomed a punt into orbit and onto the sideline, our put game was fine. Other than that, it was hot and cold with poor consistency.

Here are some situations to follow.

  • Will Chad Cunningham hold onto the punter position?

  • Will Daniel Lincoln return his form of two years ago or will we see the Lincoln of last season?

  • Who will return kick offs? With Dennis Rogan gone, will this be where one of the incoming freshmen like Nu"Kese Richardson, stake their claim to fame?

  • Who will return punts? Will be it be a freshman or will Gerald Jones handle the duties?

  • How good will our coverage teams fare this season?

Will Chad Cunningham hold onto the punter position?, don't know

Will Daniel Lincoln return his form of two years ago or will we see the Lincoln of last season?- bygod he better!

Who will return kick offs? With Dennis Rogan gone, will this be where one of the incoming freshmen like Nu"Kese Richardson, stake their claim to fame?-good place to put one of our tailbacks who may be on the outside looking in inreguards to playin' time at tailback!

Who will return punts? Will be it be a freshman or will Gerald Jones handle the duties?-again you put one of the backs here if jones isn't ready.

How good will our coverage teams fare this season?- i look for marked improvement here, if this staff full of NFL coaches can't turn it around then noboby can!

TA.
