Interesting Eric Berry quote

He was asked which coach in the SEC he'd play for if he had a choice of any of them. Of course he did not hesitate:

“I can’t see myself playing for anyone else other than Lane Kiffin,” Berry said. “We thought we were in this thing by ourselves last year. One of the first things Coach Kiffin did when he arrived was to let us know we were not alone anymore in this fight."

Now I would expect him to say Lane Kiffin, but the second part of his quote is what's revealing.

I'm wondering if Berry was just referring to the fact that they didn't have a coach who had their back since Fulmer was fired or since he'd been on campus. I'm leaning toward the latter.

I also love a Berry quote I read somewhere that he started running up mountains while in Vacation in Gatlinburg....heck, I do that all the time ;)

Berry one of those once a decade type players...I hate the fact that we probably won't keep him for two more years....
