Some news on Markeith Ambles and Matt Milton

Rob Lewis is stating, and I paraphrase: Markeith Ambles, a 4 star WR from GA, will likely announce Wednesday where he will be going to school. It looks like it is between UF and UT, and the indications are that he will pick UT.

Also, Matt Milton, the 6'6 4 star WR from Illinois will be in town this weekend, along with 6'5 #1 WR prospect Kyle Prater. Look for a commitment from Milton to UT soon, as he has had the Vols out in front for a while. Prater may be a guy who ends up committing on signing day, but he has the Vols in his top 5.

If Milton AND Prater both committed to TN, Ambles would skate. I think he could handle one of them as competition but not both.

We want guys who are not afraid to compete. As Pete Carroll does and Lane Kiffin has said he will do, the players will compete for playing time each week.

Markeith Ambles Discusses Why He Chose Tennessee Over Florida

Markeith Ambles chose the Vols over the Florida Gators. He went to Florida's "Friday Night Lights" with the Vols in the lead and he did not commit to Florida as some reported.

Hold onto this young man.

This is GREAT news....top recruits bring in top recruits. That's why it's a shame that we got all those big recruits very late, such as Janzen, Nuke, Uku and Brown....hard to build momentum when you're out of time.

This is a big guy 6'2" who will be a steady, strong target for whatever qb we wind up signing...
