NOT cheap! Just before the May 1st Holiday over there (its a biggie for them) the price shot up to E 1.48
exhange rate roughly $1.50 to E.100works out to about $2.20per liter!!!! :X or $8.44 per US gallon :X :X :X And WE are bitchin'? :smile:

Our problem is that we have a life style that is so dependent on travel. So many live long distances from family and work.... and it's been this way for a long long time. We are so dependent on our cars, and we are now going to suffer (and then there are those large SUV's that North Americans seem to love). :owl:

:angry: You'll note the edit to my post: I had $4.48-but my math was akilter :reyes: the true price per US gallon is $8.44 !!!

I thought the original price was off kilter somewhat.... :laug: .

Yes, the yanks are groaning right now.... and in most places it's not up to $4. per gal. A little wine with that cheese? :cool:
