gerard. From a self confessed Christian I expected a "Merry (or blessed) Christmas." Sorry, for me a politically correct "Happy Holidays" does not cut it. To anyone reading this: "MERRY CHRISTMAS" If that does not suit you, I feel sorry for you. |

Beans, I too would never issue anything but a Merry Christmas greeting. It's not that I'm religious, but that I do dislike any political correctness. If I were knowingly greet someone of the Jewish faith I would say Happy Hanuka. It certainly is a strange world we live in today. |

gerard: Happy holiday season? Party hardy? That doesn't sound Christian to me. But then, the difference between a Judeo-Christian, like you, and a real Christian, like me, is that real Christians know that the appropriate greeting is "Merry Christmas" -- and forget about the "party hardy" nonsense. Drunken revelry is not a hallmark of the Christian faith. But then, only a real Christian would know the difference. So you have a happly holiday season and party hardy, bub. But as a real Christian, I will have a Merry Christmas while thanking God for sending a saviour to atone for the sins of all those sinners who confess Jesus as their saviour. RO |

ya...those judging eyes....they sure like to open wide..... Let me guess.....celebrating the other pagan holiday absorbed by the catholic church.....Ishtar...i'm sorry....Easter.....lol is also popular.....oh well. Romans 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. Edited by gerard, Jan 5 2010, 01:56 AM.
