No, my beliefs about the Roman Catholic Church have nothing to do with the relationship between you and your son. Even Devil worshipers have loving relationships. <lol> In all seriousness, though, I know the Bible and I have some relevant experiences with the priests and nuns of the Roman Catholic Church -- and any person (priest, nun or brother) who demands that I pray to dead "Saints" is no Christian. I pray to God and to God alone do I pray. Here is the kicker: Even though I am a devoted Pro-test-ant, I hold that the Irish, who are devout Roman Catholics, have every right to their beliefs, despite what the Protestant English invaders of their land say to the contrary. If the Irish want to pray to plaster gods, that is thei9r right, and the English be damned for it. God bless the Irish! RO We all have a past Orn ===I was dragged up in the hungry 20 and 30tys in cabbage town Toronto. My muddy was an Irish RC and me father was a Cornish Methodist who called himself a free thinker -- Went to protestant public school - attended the church where there was something to eat --I was never baptized till I was 33 --then it was only to get married in church an Anglican church I happened to be building at the time -- first decent meal I had was when I joined the royal Canadian Navy saw action on the North Atlantic convoy duty, was torpedoed by U-boat and only 18 --- drafted to another frigate saw more action and misery than I care to mention -- VE day was in mid Atlantic wouldn’t let us into Halifax on account the sailors were rioting - Signed for the pacific war took the ship through Panama cannel to Victoria Vancouver was discharged at the end of hostilities. Religion there are so many of them its hard to choose so I say fek them all, I'm an atheist I guess. To me with all the past history of various religions anyone who claims he's seen the light needs his or her fekin head read--- the bible a Jewish plot to protect the money changers -- and it's worked right? Of course the world "troll" is offensive to trolls, but who cares what a troll thinks? Let's face it, it is always open season on trolls no matter where they are found. RO
