Hiya,,,,just wanted to thank you for bearing witness to what you believe at my forum. I sense you have a touch of apprehension and feel uncomfortable....but I appreciate you comments and wanted to just thank you for taking part in some of the discussions on religion that you have.

Have a great SUNday.

After I had gone off line last night, I worndered if I had been a wee bit too passionate in some of my comments. I admit that I preach with gusto, but I try to do so in a way that expresses my beliefs without dedepreciating the beliefs of others, with the single exception being those idol-worshiping Roman Catholics.

The sense you felt about my apprehensiveness and uncomfortableness was actually a by-product of my writing style. I tend to be prim, even stuffy when I write, which is pretty much how I talk in RealWorld. People tend to get that way when they spend twenty years in career fields in which a wrong word could cost them their promotions, jobs and possibly even their lives.

Your forum is enjoyable. The nicks there are all likable, with the possible exception of the one called Bruce (--just kidding, buddy). Bruce and I have a shared history at this forum, so I like to have a little fun with him at your forum, but he knows it's nothing serious or personal (well, almost) <hehehe>

Seriously, though, I'll try to lighten up at your place.

Oh, by the way, my Sabbath is on Saturday, which is the day God set aside for man to rest from his labors.

Sweets:

One need not have ear lobes to know that nowhere in the Bible is the Sabbath changed from Saturday to Sunday. As with too many Christian things today, the Saturday-to-Sunday change was a Roman Catholic invention. True Christians follow the same Sabbath day as did the Christ.

I am hesitant to say...but think the earlobe was an anti-semetic slant.....

Very true....The Sabbath....friday sunset to sat sunset....was not JUST for the Jews....it was made for MAN.

Xmas, Ishtar/Easter, All Hallows Eve/Halloween....all are pagan celebrations adopted into 'modern christian tradition.

As historian wil Durant said, 'The Catholic Church did not destroy paganism...it adopted it instead!

be Well RO!

gerard:

The earlobe crack was a definite anti-Ashkenazi comment about the parasites who occupy present-day Isreal, eventhough they have no legitimate claim to it. The Ashkenazi originated in southern Russia and converted in mass to Judiaism sometime around 750 A.D.; consequently, there isn't a drop of Hebrew blood in them

God brought His Commandments, Judgements, Statutes and Ordinances to one people alone: the Hebrews. God then sent His only begotten son to the Lost sheep of the House of Israel, the children (tribes) of Jacob, whose name God changed to Israel. God was specific as to who His Chosen people were, and they did not include the Askenazi or the other nations in the Middle East or in the world.

Christmas, Easter and All Hallows Eve are hardly modern; indeed, those traditions of man date back almost to the founding of that great whore, the Roman Catholic Church.

Be well, brother,

Facts Are Facts, by Benjamin Freedman:

Following is the story of the conversion of a tribe of people in Russia to Judaism and is the origin of more than 95% of the Jews of Eastern Europe.

"Without a complete and accurate knowledge of the origin and history of the 'Jews' in Eastern Europe... it is quite impossible for [Christians] to intelligently understand the harmful influence the Jews have exerted for ten centuries...’

You will probably be astonished as many Christians were years ago when I electrified the nation with the first publication by me of the facts disclosed by my many years of research into the origin and the history of the 'Jews' in Eastern Europe. My many years of intensive research established beyond the question of any doubt, contrary to the generally accepted belief held by Christians, that the 'Jews' in Eastern Europe at any time in their history in Eastern Europe were never the legendary 'lost ten tribes' of Bible lore. That historic fact is incontrovertible.

Relentless research established as equally true that the 'Jews' in Eastern Europe at no time in their history could be correctly regarded as the direct lineal descendants of the legendary ‘lost ten tribes’ of Bible lore. The ‘Jews’ in Eastern Europe in modern history cannot legitimately point to a single ancient ancestor who ever set even a foot on the soil of Palestine in the era of Bible history.

Research also revealed that the 'Jews' in Eastern Europe were never ‘Semites,’ are not ‘Semites’ now, nor can they ever be regarded as ‘Semites’ at any future time by any stretch of the imagination. Exhaustive research also irrevocably rejects as a fantastic fabrication the generally accepted belief by Christians that the 'Jews' in Eastern Europe are the legendary 'Chosen People' so very vocally publicized by the Christian clergy from their pulpits..."

Hi Really Ornery: I hope that you don't mind me coming here.

I have a few things going against me:

1. I am Gerard's mother and have been accused for years of being his alter ego...not true.

2. I, not like my son, am one of those :cag: Roman Catholics. However, I don't worship idols and I live in a friendly and loving way with my son who is an Armstrong supporter.

3. I do not find your posting style abrasive at all and I get a kick about how direct and open you are about your beliefs with one exception: your statement about Idol Worshiping Roman Catholics. :thd:

God Bless: Joanne
