What not to wear EVER

Article from: MX

THE Spice Girls might be headed for a stupendous return but don't think for a second Ginger's chunky platforms ever will.
Shocker shoes including stinky Ugg boots, clunky clogs and, yes, platforms feature high on a new fashion list that defines what is out.

For those who dream of one day dusting off the shell suits, leg warmers and culottes, the message is clear don't.

The research, released today, said the items were among the worst clothing and shoe crimes of all time.

The nylon shell suit, popular with all ages a few decades ago, came first of the horrors on the list compiled by fashion website missbutterfly.com.

Others to make the top 10 were skimpy tank tops, daggy ponchos, braces and ra-ra skirts.

Women are now being urged to take heed of the results and clear out their closets, just in case they are ever tempted by madness or misguided celebrities to wear them again.

The tenth-worst item, Ugg boots, has endorsement from celebrities such as Kate Moss and Sienna Miller.

Moss has also included item No. 6, tank tops, in her collection for UK retailer Top Shop.

Researchers also asked the 1500 women surveyed to name their favourite fashion item of all time.

Jeans pioneered by Levi Strauss in the mid-1800s were voted No.1, while the classic little black dress came a close second.
