Introduction: Each medal represents a different accomplishment a person has achieved above the line of duty recommended by another guild member or another guild. Commendations are awards given to members for doing tasks for the guild beyond being a normal member for the guild or reaching a milestone. Some are for guild improvements, some are for battle accomplishments while others are for self sacrifice. Please read the different descriptions for metal. These medals are not easy to achieve, but please try your best to achieve them. Medals and commendations may also be given at special occasions. Medals must to be approved by either Minister Chief or any Chaos Elder. How You Earn a Medal / Commendation: Medals: 1) Another player that is not getting the award must sponsor you and tell the Minister Chief or Chaos Elder why you deserve the medal. 2) If your credentials meet the standards for the award you will be notified that you deserve the medal and the Minister Chief, or Chaos Elder will tell the title chucker to change your title to add this medal. 3) Asking for medals will not get you a medal! 4) Sponsor for the medal will not be mentioned to the player getting the award due to obvious reasons. Commendations: 1) Commendations can be earned by a few ways. Depending on the award, it could be sponsored by another guild member, your actions during times of war, reaching a milestone, taking on a leadership role, sponsored by new recruits or solving an internal issue peacefully. 2)If your credentials meet the standards for the award you will be notified that you deserve the commendation and the Ministers Chief, or the Chaos Elders will tell the titlers to change your title to add this medal. 3) Asking for commendations will not get you a commendation! 4) Sponsor for the commendation will not be mentioned to the player getting the award due to obvious reasons. Medals: Metal of Honor: This is the guild's highest honor medal. This is earned through devotion to the guild. This is by far the hardest medal to earn in the guild. Special beyond the line of duty accomplishments deserve this medal. Only the few who devote themselves to the guild should deserve this medal. Chaos Elders personally will present this medal out due to how hard it is to earn this medal! Medal Of Honor: «۞» Bronze Star Medal: This is the guild's second highest medal. This is given to a person who has done something beyond the call of duty that deserves a medal not stated in other medals. Like the Medal of Honor, this medal is not easy to get and Choas Elders will personally present this medal to you due to how hard is is to earn this medal! Bronze Star Medal «☼» Metal of Valor: This is the guild's battle honor medal. This is earned through devotion to the guild through battle beyond the call of duty. Some but not all tasks that may deserve this medal are planning a campaign against a oppressive guild, protecting important locations through impossible odds to better the guild. These are only a few ideas that may deserve this medal. New circumstances may come up that are this medal worthy. This medal is not going to be easily accomplished. Medal Of Valor: «Δ» Purple Heart: This is the guild's self giving medal. This is earned through devotion to the guild through giving yourself in protection of another. The person who is protecting another guild member needs to lose a significant portion of their fleet in defending another guild member. This significant portion is losing more then 50% of their fleet (This does not count if you send 2 fighters to protect someone and you lose 1). I am talking about losing a big fleet in defending of another. You can receive this medal from unselfishly helping other guild members in need. We do not hand out medals to people doing it for personal gains. Purple Heart Medal: «♥» Distinguished Service Cross Medal: The distinguished Service Cross is given to members in the guild whose service the guild beyond the call of duty. Members who take it upon themselves to do something beneficial for the guild without being asked. This does not count in following orders document or doing what the Chaos Elders ask them to do. Any player who does something for the guild that makes the guild run smoother, simplifies the guild, answers questions or adds adds more guild policy rules that makes the guild a better place deserves this medal. Distinguish Service Cross Medal «†» Commendations: War Service Commendation: This commendation is given to all members who fought bravely, honorably and courageously in battle for the guild. This is given to all members who fought in battle after victory is earned. Only members who have fought the guild we are at war with earn this commendation. War Service Commendation «» Leadership Commendation: This commendation is given to members who step up to the plate and decide to take on a leadership role for the guild. Chaos Elders could not give you enough appreciation for making our lives easier so we can focus on more important issues for the guild! This is why we have this commendation. Leadership Commendation «۩» Unity Commendation: Unity Commendation is an award given to people who speak up in defense of the guild or help the guild resolve internal issues in forum boards, message boards, IRC or through private message through great adversity. A happy guild is also a well knit group that works well together. This is why we have this award because we want people to work together not against each other. Unity Commendation «►◄» Commissioned Officer Commendation This commendation is a milestone achievement. Getting to the Chaos Ruling Ranks is a tough and long journey. It may take months for players to reach this goal. We understand that this rank is hard to reach so players that reach this rank will be given this commendation. Commissioned Officer Commendation «⊕» New Recruit Aid Commendation «.::.» This commendation is for experienced players helping out new players. Our guild is as strong as our weakest link. The stronger and more knowledgeable our players get the better our guild becomes. People who aid new recruits and help them reach the 1000 economy level or take it upon themselves to tutor a new recruit deserves this commendations. happy hunting everyone! I hope you'll get a Medal / Commendation someday! Begging won't get you a medal!!! |
