Hey folks,
I am currently looking for someone to serve as our new community admin.

So, you ask, what would this involve?

Community admin would be an administrator who's main purposes include:

• Increasing member activity
• Helping with contests/various activities
• Helping members out with basic tasks
• Increasing productivity
• Getting the rest of the staff to do stuff

So far we have four candidates. Here's what they have to say.

Now that you know who they are...

Have an article you wrote? Are you making others? Or maybe you haven't wrote any at all, but plan on doing so soon. Become an Author!

A. User Conduct

C. Multiple Thread Topics
As each forum is specifically tailored to address certain topics, you are responsible for initiating new threads in the correct forum. You should stay on the topic of the forum you are posting in at all times. The appropriate content for each forum is described in detail on the under the link itself in the forums homepage. Please also do not post the same message in multiple forums without permission from a staff member.

D. Other Inappropriate Posting Topics

I. Impersonation or assuming the character of another member by copying his username and manner of writing, is not allowed.

II. Multiple Accounts We allow only 1 account per member. Members found to have more that 1 account will be removed. For those of you with multiple people per household that wish to register, please notify staff prior to registering the second account. You may not have more than three accounts per household.

III. Flaming or lashing out at other participants or displaying obvious and rude (as determined by Aquaventures staff) dissatisfaction of theAquaventures Administration and corrective actions, is strictly forbidden. Proper etiquette is required for participation in theAquaventures.
IV. Spamming

a. This means no sending of unsolicited junk mail, posting of ads for non-fish related products, or advertising of other websites/companies.

b. Refraining from posting excessive, unnecessary material

V. Trolling
This means no posting of insulting or deliberately divisive threads/replies for the purpose of receiving retaliatory insults and flames, or throwing off the balance of the forum.

V. Flood
You agree not to disrupt the normal flow of dialogue or “flood,” cause a screen to "scroll" faster than other users of the Service are able to type, or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other users' ability to engage in real time exchanges.

E. Spamming
I. You also agree not to use the Aquaventures forums to either advertise or promote commercial endeavors, which includes direct posts, as well as, active links to other sites on the Internet, which are found to advertise a specific product (this does not include posting a direct link to a page [e.g. a video] which may possess subsequent advertising. All links posted in the normal forums must be only for the sole purpose of expanding on comments or providing additional information as part of regular forum interactions.

F. Pornography
Obviously, we do not allow posting of pornographic materials.

g. Copyright infringement
Please refrain from posting material that infringes any current copyright.

H. Advertising
I. You MAY advertise to another fish-related site via link in the signiture. This may NOT, however, link to any site that:

-Is of a commercial nature
-Does not pertain to fish keeping
-Contains obscene or vulgar material that is not allowed on these forums

II. You may not post a thread advertising another site without prior permission from an administrator.

Conclusion
We do not wish to be strict, however remaining positive and cooperating with these guidelines will help us in achieving our goal in creating a positive community. Please note that we retain the authority to suspend/ban any users who do not obey the TOS/Rules and Guidelines Without Warning.
