The glitches have increased, but at least it doesn't destroy memory card data. ^_^
You're one of the fortunate ones then. The game corrupted my memory card three times :(
Ouch. It's like game murder. :mega_shock:
I don't know why, I'm lucky when it comes to glitches. If I do come across one, I actually get out of it on the very first shot. For example, in TR:L, I've hear that there's been a lot of problems with the bike ride in Kazakhstan. I did come across one. Lara died when she tripped over a hidden "crack" before I was about to do my first train jump. When Lara got back to the checkpoint, she actually started off in the sky. I don't know why I did it, but I turned the Ducati to the left and pressed the reverse button. Sure enough, I survived! It did give me a slight delay, but I made it.

When I checked on Stella's and loads of other TR forums, I found out that other people experienced the same glitch yet Lara died when they attempted to do any changes in the Ducati's direction. I suggested my idea to the solutions thread. It didn't change much though...

Hey everybody, I made it, here is my official review of the PS2 version of Underworld. Keep in mind that before I even bought the game, I had lowered my expectations about it and I haven't seen the next generation demos, so there's nothing to influence my conclusion.
First off, I was pleased that the aggravation level falls well below that of Anniversary. No making puzzles out of the moves, no silly monster fights, and no having to reload time after time. As the game moved forward, I did have to consult Stella because of technical pitter patter. For instance, in the room with the swinging hammers, I figured out that she would have to make chimney jumps between the two columns because there was no place else to go but up, but she failed to reach the top every time. So big deal, she's supposed to start out standing on the ledge, not hanging from it. Other times, she wouldn't respond to the controls to make jumps, which made me think that the right way to go was the wrong way. This caused sticking points because of the confusion. The visual quality of the cut scenes were really bad as if they were third generation copies. The game was way too short. Some levels went by too quickly, while Mexico seemed to drag on.
The camera became an issue in tight places as you already know but I felt it was better than in Anniversary, except for the constant drifting downwards when she was idle. Now, a little nit-picking, I liked how her running was more natural, but the hands on her hips thing bugged me like that goofy creeping thing she did in Legend when she was supposed to be walking at a slow pace.
With all of the faults, I have to say though, unlike Anniversary, I will play it again because I felt that the game was there for my enjoyment and not for some sadistic designer's amusement.
So now, everything seems to be up in the air as to what happens next with this franchise. I only hope that the right decisions are made, because I would hate to have it end here.
Thank you and goodnight.
(edit)..............As an afterthought, I'm considering buying an X-box and playing the game the way it was originally meant to be played. After watching some videos, I can see that the PS2 version is seriously lacking in visuals and gameplay and (glitches)? Any comments or suggestions?

Well Rand, looks like your gamer's hunch is correct. Xbox may be the best way to go on this installment. The graphics are much more sharper and it gives a little budget booster with BoA and LS. If you're only able to afford the original Xbox, there is a way you can make it work like a 360. You may need an Xbox LIVE account to get the full benefit, but I've seen it work just as well without it.

I agree that it's much too short. According to Stella's, they deleted 4 levels in the PS2 version and merged a few elements.
