X-Box 360 question

So, I finished the game a while ago and it has come time to play it again. The game has to be rather entertaining for me to want to play again, and I like to have a time span in between so it doesn't feel like I've just been there. So, last night I loaded the cd and choose to "start a new game" from the menu. This time, I did more exploring around, finding a few things that missed the first time and saving progress as I went along. Today, I wanted to resume the game where I left off and to my surprise, none of the new game saves exist, but all the saves from the first time around are still there. I thought once a new game is started, it will delete all the previous saves.
What did I do wrong?

That's a new one on me. Have you connected your Xbox to Xbox Live yet and downloaded the patch? There's a problem with the save system on the unpatched game and maybe what you describe is it. The patched game should create separate autosaves at the beginning of each chapter (whereas the unpatched game only creates one autosave and keeps overwriting it as you go). Also, though I can't confirm this myself (haven't got Underworld on 360 yet), do you know if the game is overwriting your manual save with its own autosaves? Have you checked the time/dates on each save? And have you still got all your treasures?

And sorry for the dreadfully slow reply.

I don't know what happened Spong. None of my manual save points were present when I wanted to load and play. I started the game over again and this time it seems to be working. The auto saves are re-writing themselves and leaving my manual saves alone. I also didn't find any way of deleting the game from the memory console either, unless maybe it needs to be transferred to a external memory devise.
I am not connected to X-Box live. The first time I played through, the auto saves did not overwrite themselves as the game progressed and the player is not able to overwrite them either. The only thing that I think may of happened is that the auto saves deleted my manual ones.

It might've just been "one of those things", it sounds as though you're on top of it again now though, sorry I couldn't help out more than just throwing a few suggestions at you but I haven't got the 360 version of Underworld yet and am not familiar with the save system on it.

As for accessing your game saves on your Xbox, turn it on and go to 'My Xbox>System Settings>Memory' then select your console's hard drive (or Memory Unit if you're using one). All your games will be listed and you'll be able to delete/copy/move the individual saves.
