Got a favorite VG trailer song or theme? You can plaster it on here. There's a lot of songs that VG developers have borrowed copyrights so that they could be used for trailers and stuff. The song Spitfire is a really good example (Gorecki is another!). But you know those songs that have another song underlying it? I love homages, especially if it uses the original base. The TR:L theme actually does that. If you read Wikipedia and listen to the song Ailein Duinn by Capercaillie, it will just sum up the main point of this thread for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMyfl66C4yc - Ailein Duinn by Capercaillie [Inspiration for Tomb Raider Legend theme\ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomb_Raider_(series)#Music - TR compositions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p197Bs5qboA - Chou (Butterfly) by Tsukiko Amano [theme song for Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly] |
