Who here thinks that the chaff was pointless in TR:C? It would be more challenging if they left it out... I made it through most of it before I even knew I had it.... I know I'm babbling on about random things.   What are your views? |

Ah! ^.^; I don't think that I've ever used them, so that's why I was slightly confused. So yeah, I also think that they were slightly pointless!

I just swim directly to my destination, saves me from torpedoes 99% of the time. So, yep, they are pointless.

Chaff flares are cute yet pointless! My brother made it though in minutes - no issues!

Clearly I'm the odd one out then LOL. I use 'em (and I knew what you meant Tessa). Although they're only really there to ensure maximum health for the escape back to the submarine (in case you run out of air). And Deepsea Dive is one of the better levels of Chronicles, it's a shame it's so small. It also contains the single most funny line to be uttered in the entire series. But you have to have my stupid mind to find it funny.

The line is; "Who could believe it?" Granted, it's not funny on the surface, but given the tone with which Lara says it, it comes across to me as the world's worst Victor Meldrew impression. And that creases me up every time I hear it

You're kinda right in a way. It's actually funnier when it's put in writing because you think, "why would Lara say such a thing? You're the one going towards fictional artifacts!"
