I've never played Halo (though Halo 3 looks really good), but I don't think that it would be the best franchise to base a movie on since there isn't really a well-defined plot to it. I would weep if someone would think of making a GTA movie. Clearly you can see the huge controversy that it brings. I've never played it in my life and I never will. What I really hate is the reverse - trying to convert movies, tv shows, and books into VGs. If you want an example of that disaster, see the Grey's Anatomy video game vids. The creators feel like as if they've captured the essence of a Grey's Anatomy show but I can even tell from their weak efforts of promoting it that it just emerged as a dramatic & flat version of Trauma Center mixed with an unedited, unrealistic Charles Schwartz commercial. |
