Hugh would not have cut the Scout into pieces – well, except for that one ‘loosing it’ back outside. But he will be careful this time.

…

Careful? Something brushed against his forehead – hit his chest – and then gain. He looked down at the red paint and his eyes widened. “Whit-?“

He looked around the room and finally spotted the Scout. Finally realized that he was ‘dead’ by now and that the other had indeed got him. He lowered his axe and rubbed his forehead where the first bullet just brushed – smiling wide. “Ach so A’m deid. Ye’re so quate [quiet] lad, A would’ve sworn ye’re like a Spy. Verra, verra guid. A’m glad tae hae ye on the REDteam.”

This practice was advantageous for both of them – Dan could pick good hiding spots and Hugh learned his lesson of really paying attention to his surroundings – all the nooks and gaps people could hide in and silently kill him from. It would likely be better if he wielded his flamethrower next time – sweep the gaps with flames, you know…

He approached Dan while putting his axe onto his belt and patted his shoulder. This one, in his calmness, his ability to remain quiet, hidden and using his speed to his advantage, was a promising one for the future battles with the BLUs.

“Braw, braw. One : zero fer ye. Wish ye to continue or is thir sumthin’ else on yer mind?”

Dan had already holstered his pistol and grabbed hold of a solid wooden bar, then swung down and landed lightly on the tiled floor beneath him, walking towards Hugh, hands in the pockets of his pants. He accepted the pat on the shoulder, giving Hugh a shy smile in return.

'Nah, s'nothing.'

He shrugged and, in an attempt to show Hugh just how acrobatic he was, ran towards the far wall and defied gravity by running up the wall three steps, then jumping to the right to grab hold of the ledge, hauling himself up and giving Hugh a sly wink, before disappearing, heading up to the roof, where he would sit and think about the best places to hide during arena combat.

[Ya know, BLUs can crash Hugh and Dan's little training session.]

[I am working on this - sorry to take so long, but I am studying for my final high-school exams. Graduating year and my next 3 weeks are full of exams. Could we perhaps get another BLU to crash the session? Just to make sure you get a person to RP here with when I am unavailable. What say you?]

[Hah! Screw the BLUs. I am here, for the moment at least.]

From his seat down at the bench, Sergei admired the 'training session' those two had engaged in. Red paint, ingenious. Not a bad method really. But, back on to business. And so Sergei picked up Wanda and went back to his form of training. Placed upon the logs were a line of Bonk! cans that Sergei had found in the back of the fridge. (Also, he'd taken the liberty of sticking a photo of a BLU member's mug onto each can.)Raising Wanda up to eye level and standing a good 20 yards away, Sergei fired off 8 rounds, each finding their target and knocking a respective Bonk! can off the log.

Heh. With this kind of shtick, I could probably replace Blanc as the sniper. Lazy idiot rarely does anything anyway. Taking the remaining Bonk! can off the log and taking a swig of it, Sergei immediately spat it out and cursed violently. "Bleck! Chto za huy? How could anyone drink this stuff?" Washing it down with a Smirnoff, Sergei moved back to the bench to retrieve the item for the next part of the training.

Dan watched as his RED teammate Sergei shot up some of the Bonk! Energy drinks that, thankfully, he didn't drink. He drank his own energy drink, sent via air mail from his hometown. Tasted a helluva lot better than that Bonk! crap. That shit tasted like spilled batteries, it did. He'd stashed the remaining cans of Bonk! at the back of the fridge, hoping that someone wouldn't find them. Except for things like this, of course.

Smirking, Dan drew his pistol and, after checking that his dummy rounds were still loaded, fired off a series of shots at Sergei, intending to draw a line of red splats up from his hip to his head.

Suddenly, from right the fuck out of nowhere, many small bullet-like objects made contact with Sergei's side. A horrific first instinct was that he'd been shot, but there was no peircing pain to accompany it.

That would have to be one of those fake paintballs. Right, I'll fix that...

Dramatically turning around towards Dan, Sergei gave his proposition.

"Alright Dan, you want to train? Very well, but we'll do this by my method. I give you a few seconds to flee and if I catch you, I'll kick the crap out of you! Ready? 10, 9, 8, 7-654321TIMESUP!"

Roaring loudly, Sergei took off after the scout.

Wondering how a soldier laden with an assault rifle would chase him across the rooftops, Dan waited until the soldier disappeared underneath the building. Only then did he jump out and leap across the gap between the middle building and the RED spawn. He grabbed a small ledge and gently lowered himself to the ground, before hiding in the roof of the RED spawn.

This is gonna be good.
