[blockquote][blockquote]She took a deep, full, but shaking breath with closed eyes as the drizzling rain misted over her silver velvet cloak that made her seem only a ghost. It was strange how just feeling the energy around her could transform her cynical feelings into just a trace of a zephyr that blew around her. Just because most people did not share her belief that everything had a spirit didn't mean it wasn't true, so she would treat them the same way she had back home; with respect. Maybe the spirits back home would hear her too if she felt it strong enough.

"Kolo chym viter pron tsvisty ves nakhodyty yikh myr," she whispered as she raised a hand to rub Black Jewel's shoulder. The mare tossed her mane, violet eyes glittering among the misty rain. How long should she stay here? Eventually she'd have to start heading down the mountain in time to find some food for that night, but for now, she just wanted to stay here and simply feel, and hear all the sounds that no one else could hear through the silence. Maybe she would learn something new. Maybe she would solve a mystery.

"I know you like to speak in the Cossack tongue as much as possible," Apollo told her, looking up at her with his mouth open and tongue hanging out, "but perhaps the spirits here don't know what you're saying."

Yuliya turned her face down towards him, quiet look of interest on her face. He had a point, even though she had been secretly hoping the wind would take her words back to the place where they would be understood, but then again, back home, the Cossacks would take care of the spirits, so it was her job to take care of these ones since no one else seemed to believe in them. They had to believe she was a friend, and maybe that was the first step to fixing herself.

"By the wind that blows, all find their peace," she repeated, letting her words hang in the air. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
