![]() Sometimes I get so weird I even freak myself out I laugh myself to sleep it's my lullaby She had finally done it. She had acted completely rashly and run away. She was having trouble believing it herself, yet here she stood, in a small town on the border of Saor and Sceith, looking entirely lost and a little worse for wear. But now where on earth was she going to go? This morning she had put on her worst dress, a pretty violet cotton with a bit of silver embroidery on the sleeves, snuck into her father's study and stolen a pouch of coins, put on her oldest, yet still good, pair of boots, and wrapped a scarf around her head. Then she had snuck out and wandered through the woods for a little while, until she had reached a main road, which she had followed here. Now she had some decisions to make. Should she head into Saor proper, or just follow the coast until she hit a port town then book a passage across the English Channel into Europe and continue her journey there? Did she have enough money to do that? So now she stood against a wall in front of a rather nice inn, trying to decide. Also, I was thinking Diamond could walk by and in an attempt to appear more like a gentleman, offer to help her, but Katie will see right through Diamond's disguise, because as I've been reading in your thread with Aden (yes I'm a thread lurker), her disguise isn't very good. If all that is ok with you of course. Tag: Diamond McAllister ![]() this was never the way i planned not my intention[blockquote][blockquote] Her hair swung boyishly about her ears, making the young Scoailte warrior feels oddly self-conscious an odd, especially since she could still feel his fingers gently against her skin—she trembled at the thought, then quickly complicated suicide. This was not happening. Absolutely not! Aden Shawnson was not cute, handsome, dashing, charming, loveable, irresistible, pretty or otherwise remotely attractive. In fact, he was one of the ugliest men alive. Yep, that’s right. Now she, on the other hand, she was one hell of a sexy man. She was still quite skinny, but otherwise, she was doing quite well in her disguise. Her masculine clothes fit her now, her hair was cut, she walked the way she was supposed to and she glare at everything with “smoldering eyes”. Yes, what woman wouldn’t want her? She was so manly. Her Cleveland Bay gelding ambled along lazily, occasionally encouraged by a poke from Diamond’s merciless spurs. Aden had told her to stay away from people, so the chance of someone recognizing her would diminish slightly when she went to compete in the tourney, but she wasn’t going to listen to that serf, was she? Oh not, of course not. She was going to do the exact opposite of everything he said, just to show him how she despised him and wished to spite him so. And so there she was, riding along the very border between Sceith and Saor, looking to see who dared come waltzing across the border into the Highlands, but she found no one to see her in her new manly attire. And it was quite disheartening. Finally, she brought her mount to a halt and slammed her hand against his withers in frustration. “Bloody hell!” i kissed a girl and i liked it the taste of her cherry chapstick i kissed a girl just to try it[/center WORD COUNT: 290 LISTENING TO: I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry LYRICS CREDIT: I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry NOTES: That could work, or not, seeing as Diamond's kinda-sorta getting the whole crossdressing thing down. I know one of my plans for Diamond is for her to seduce women at the tourney while they're under the impression that she's a man, so, if you wanted to go that route *points at lyrics*. However, if you don't that's fine too. [/blockquote][/blockquote] ![]() Sometimes I get so weird I even freak myself out I laugh myself to sleep it's my lullaby Katie really didn't know where she should go. She continued to lean against the wall of the inn, completely lady-like, of course, fiddling with the sleeve of her dress. She then heard the sound of hooves, which was odd because the street had been deserted a moment ago. Then she heard someone swear in a rather loud voice. She looked up. Just down the street, there was a man astride a handsome horse. Katie shivered slightly, she didn't like horses. But a smile lit her face as she walked towards the man. She was putting off something she was not good at, decision making, for something she was good at, flirting. Now here was something she could do. She had seduced many a man. She stopped beside the horse. "Hello, good sir. I was wondering if perhaps you could help me find a good place to eat?" She fluttered her eyelashes at him. She gave him a brilliant smile. She tried to contain her fear of the horse. They can seduce each other, it should be fun. Tag: Diamond McAllister ![]() this was never the way i planned not my intention[blockquote][blockquote] She was about to turn Tiger back to Saor when a girl about her age appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. A smile had illuminated her face as she approached Diamond. She had long red hair, commonplace in both the Highlands and Lowlands and was wearing a delicate dress. Oh, and this was pretty, very pretty. "Hello good sir. I was wondering if perhaps you could help me find a good place to eat?" Finally! Someone had addressed her "sir"! They were getting somewhere, after several people asking her what she was doing striding around and speaking in a strange voice that sounded like a soprano frog being tortured. It was finally paying off! Finally! All that sitting through getting her hair shorn and--. She was indeed very beautiful. A little too beautiful, perhaps. "Why of course, M'lady." She smiled politely, her tongue speaking words of so kind her mouth was foreign to them and it felt awkward speaking them. "I have heard tell of the feasts served at the inn yonder." She raised a slender finger and pointed to a well-build, welcoming building that set itself about from the shacks that were dwarfed in its shadow. She swung down from her horse, landing lightly, cat-like on the ground. She had always been quite small and skinny, but she was miles shorter than his girl, even when she stuffed the soles of her boots in an attempt to make herself walk taller. Ah well, there was only so much one could do. "If, of course, your ladyship would be so..." She paused, dangerously, searching for the right words. What flowery monologues did Peregrine use on the ladies coming from other courts? Oh yes, "...elegant as to accompany a strange knight?" Not what he would have said, but it would have to do. What? She was expected to sit around learning fancy words all day now?! She didn't think so. i kissed a girl and i liked it the taste of her cherry chapstick i kissed a girl just to try it WORD COUNT: 318 LISTENING TO: I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry LYRICS CREDIT: I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry NOTES: Excellent...hehehehehe. [/blockquote][/blockquote] ![]() Sometimes I get so weird I even freak myself out I laugh myself to sleep it's my lullaby Katie thought that something in his words were a bit off, but she brushed it aside. She smiled at him as he leapt down from his horse, landing beside her with the soft grace of a cat. Katie furrowed her brow for a moment. She had to look down to see this man. Not by much but still, she may have been tall for her age and gender, but men were usually either her height or taller. But she quickly smiled again and fluttered her eyelashes once more. He had just told her what she already knew. Of course, the point had been to start a conversation with him, not actually find somewhere to eat. Katie giggled slightly at his choice of words. "I am always elegant." She said with a smile. She looked expectantly at the knight. Did he not know he was supposed to hold out his arm now, so she could take it and they could walk together to the inn? Once again Katie dismissed this, thinking it was just nervousness. So, on with the seduction. Tag: Diamond McAllister ![]() this was never the way i planned not my intention[blockquote][blockquote] She felt a twinge of annoyance as she heard the girl declare, "I am always elegant". She, Diamond, was the elegant one here, even if she was the one wearing the trousers--literally. She was the drop-dead gorgeous one. Yes, that's the way it should be. The girl could be beautiful, but Diamond would be the gorgeous one. Things worked out splendidly that way. Temporarily, she was struck silent by that, struggling with her inner noblewoman ready to throw a tantrum upon being declared not the fairest in the land. However, she couldn't do that right now, for she was a he and even Diamond Macalister, the dimwitted warrior-woman of the Highlands, hadn't forgotten it...yet. "M'lady, you are ravishing." She said, after a minute, even though she was quite pleased with herself for her long words. "Shall we?" She motioned toward the inn and then started leading Tiger in its direction, not waiting for the girl to keep step with her. i kissed a girl and i liked it the taste of her cherry chapstick i kissed a girl just to try it WORD COUNT: 161 LISTENING TO: Declaration of Love by Celine Dion LYRICS CREDIT: I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry NOTES: and she continues to fail... [/blockquote][/blockquote] ![]() Sometimes I get so weird I even freak myself out I laugh myself to sleep it's my lullaby Something was definitely wrong. The knight had chosen to lead his horse, not take her arm. Since when did a beast like that take precedence of a beautiful lady such as herself? Once again, Katie brushed this aside, thinking it must once again be nervousness. And he had called her ravishing. This man didn't have a very refined vocabulary. Unlike most of the knights and lords she had met. So, Katie fell into step beside him, as far away from the horse, which still frightened her, as possible. She studied him carefully. There something almost feminine about his features, but to Katie it just made him seem boyishly handsome. Then she looked at him and pretended to have forgotten her manners. "Oh, my, I have completely forgotten to introduce myself! I am Lady Katie Thea. What is you name, my good knight?" Of course, it was all part of her usual seduction plan. Usually been fell prey to her charms quite easily. This knight seemed to be falling for them but not acting the way most men did. Katie thought this might actually be a challenge and relished the thought. This was going to be so fun. Tag: Diamond McAllister ![]() this was never the way i planned not my intention[blockquote][blockquote] Leading the girl to the door of the inn, Diamond wrapped Tiger's reins around a post outside its door, not knowing how unsafe and unwise it was to tie a horse by its bit, due to the belief system of the era and of course, her creed that clearly stated that she did things her own way. Once Tiger was secured, she led the way to the door. Taking a deep breath, she spoke in a slightly deeper voice than she was using, as if her manly name needed a "I am Sir Dimitri Shawnson of Aberdeen." She said, attempting a charming smile. "I must first inquire as to whether your husband would challenge me for taking his lady into so rude an inn." Her sentence made absolutely no sense whatsoever, but it sounded knightly and chivalrous. Well, more knight-ish, than anything else; a true knight would hardly be that modest or that cautious and he would never let a lady know it. Her smile grew as she fluttered her eyelashes again. Katie followed Sir Dimitri into the inn, sighing in relief when he tied his horse up outside. She was always going to be scared of horses. Her fear was one of the reasons she had walked this far, not ridden, as she could have. She gave a small laugh and said, "Why, Sir Dimitri, I haven't a husband, yet." She raised her eyebrows suggestively. This was going just as she planned. Seduction was always fun for her. She continued to walk beside Dimitri into the inn. "Now, Sir Dimitri, will you do me the honour of sharing a meal with me?" Katie gestured towards an empty table and smiling at the knight. No husband, loose hussy and no one who knew her for who she truly was or even as Aden's supposed cousin, Dimitri. Nothing to lose and everything to gain. Why yes, she rather did like this situation as it was unfolding. "Forsooth!" He commented, her voice going up a little too high, for a moment, sounding like an exceedingly young teenage boy going through puberty. "A lady so radiant as yourself and thou hast no husband? For shame, lady, for shame. Are all other men blind? I ask you, blind?" She flashed Katie a smile feeling exceedingly pleased with herself. "Of course not, allow me." She grinned, following the redhead over through the rude pub. Subconsciously, she felt herself put a hand on the hilt of her sword. Was she, by taking on the role of a man, becoming a man, of sorts? After all, he was already acting a little strange, even if he was getting better. "Shall we sit here?" She asked when he made no move to pull out the chair. She tried to give him subtle cues, but he just wouldn't take a hint. It was making Katie a little suspicious, but the knight was handsome so she brushed it off. Was there something wrong with the table? Why, yes, it was infested by a pair of homosexual crossdressers. Diamond was irked. Why wasn't this table good enough for Her Majesty? Why did they have to go trasping around the inn looking for that perfect seat. Why couldn't they just take care of business and act like...like...? Fine, act like men. "I think it's perfectly fine." With a huff, Katie sat down across from Sir Dimitri. Was it just her imagination or had the man's voice become much higher at that last snapped remark? Maybe he was just tired or annoyed. Once again, Katie was going to brush it off. "So, Sir Dimitri, where are you from?" Katie asked, once they were both seated, going on as if nothing had happened. She smiled at the man once again, willing to forget what had happened before and continue as if her plan had gone smoothly, as it usually did. Now that she thought of it, this was probably the first time her plan had not gone smoothly. Most men were falling all over her. But there was something about Sir Dimitri that made him different but she didn't quite know what it was. Ah, it felt like Aden's hands were there again. How she would like his hands there again. Wait... Katie did what she told her to. Katie didn't question her. Katie carried herself with womanly grace. Katie pleased her. Diamond was pleased. Too pleased. When she was Diamond, she was subject to much of the same treatment and expectations placed upon Katie, but as Dimitri, she could fully embrace the fact that women were subordinate to her. And she liked it. She loved having power over others and seeing as she had observed women to have made up half of the population, this whole Dimitri thing was starting to look up. "I hail from Saor, m'lady." She said, raising one eyebrow in an attempt at being suave and sexy. "Aberdeen, Saor." She added, wisely, for once, disconnecting herself with Inverness. Katie had never been there but it was one of the places she had decided she might go. It was that very decision she had put off in favour of seducing this knight. She'd never been very good at decision making. Maybe this knight would help her decide. His next question threw her off guard. She should have been expecting it but she hadn't. She couldn't tell him the truth. She couldn't tell him she was running away. He would probably send her back to her father. And her father would marry her off to some lord. She couldn't have that. "I-" She was cut off by a loud meow from her pack, which was hidden in the folds of her skirt. She looked down sharply and opened up her pack. Inside was her grey cat, Lina, which her stepmother had given her. "Lina!" She scolded as she lifted the cat out of the pack and onto the table. "Sorry, my lord, she's not supposed to be here." Part of her was glad her darling cat had interrupted. Now she probably wouldn't have to answer the knight's question. She petted her cat absently, one hand keeping her from getting away. But her plan of seduction was most likely ruined and that made her a little sad, even if Sir Dimitri was rather strange. At all. And to this day, she was rather put off by the animals, thinking them to be the companions of only the most fragile of women, which was fine by her, seeing as her new hobby was lording over the most powerless females. Any man interested in wooing Katie would have commented on just how lovely the kitty-cat was, but Diamond was no such man and she had no idea how to act, anyway, no matter how Aden coached her. Instead, she merely looked at the cat, leering at with incredible distaste. Then, she opened her mouth to inform Katie how utterly revolting the beast was, when she shut it, remembering at the last possible second that she was supposed to be a gentleman and gentlemen did not comment of women's poor taste. Instead, they would lie through their teeth, but Diamond was too proud to do that...for the entirely wrong reasons, of course. Instead, she banged her scrawny fist into the table and yelled behind her, the pitch of her voice coming up more than she had anticipated. "Oi! All you useless, God-forsaken scum in the scullery, get your arses out here and deliver the best food in your hovel to m--my lady here. Now." She smirked, pleased with herself, but then added more, just to show off. "Or curse the day you were born." She turned back to face Katie, a smile on her face. ![]() Sometimes I get so weird I even freak myself out I laugh myself to sleep it's my lullaby Katie did not like the way Sir Dimitri was looking at her beloved cat. Anyone who didn't like her cat, or didn't even pretend to like her cat, was NOT going to share a meal with her. Her plan at seduction was utterly ruined. But for some reason that didn't upset her, because there was definitely something strange about Sir Dimitri. And not just the fact that her didn't like her cat. After all, she didn't like his horse, but that didn't mean she openly showed it. Something was off about Dimitri. And Katie, usually a very curious girl, really didn't want to know. Especially the way he was now screaming at the kitchen staff. No, she was not going to share a meal with the knight. "I am sorry, Sir Dimitri, but I must go." She could not keep the disgust from her tone as she stood up quickly, gathering her cat into her arms, slinging her pack over one shoulder and leaving the loud inn. She held her head high as she walked past peasant men who leered at her. She could not allow this blatant display of disrespect; how would she ever get that no meant no through Katie's head again if she disobeyed her now? How would she ever teach her bitch to be a good girl if she had her running around like an idiot. Now, this was never going to fly. Ever. So she was going to have become a man. A really sexy man. Her chair scraped back as she pushed herself away from the table. She stood as tall as she could as she looked over at Katie and crossed the inn to where she was, finally striding like a man, even though her legs hardly had any meat on them at all. "Katie..." This man was acting strangely and Katie didn't want to wait and see what he did next. Clutching her cat close, who attempted to claw the knight, she swept out the door. She quickly made her way down the road. She shuddered as she passed Dimitri's horse. If Dimitri was going to openly show his dislike for her cat, she would openly show her dislike for his horse. Aden never covered this part, about when the woman stormed off in a huff on the man in the relationship and never wanted to see him again. They had been a bit...busy after the hair-cutting, first with swords and then with actions most probably induced by Aden's...never mind. As Diamond saw it, she had two options. The first was to let Katie storm off, cry bitterly over the loss of a man such as Diamond and then go find her later when she had let some steam off, when she was fall romantically into Diamond's open arms. The other option was to go after her now, when she was still furious and force her into confessing her pent up, hidden feelings for Diamond. Yeah, she liked that course of action. Why on Earth would a man ever want to let a woman cool down after he had just angered her. Heal the wound while it's fresh! "Hold the gruel, clegs," She announced, scooping up her sword and striding past the counter, "I've got a woman to chase." Swinging off from her mount, she marched over to the redhead, until she stood next to her, weight resting on one leg and her hands crossed over her chest. "Katie," She muttered, in an exasperated tone, "I would never hurt you. I've never met another woman like you." That was true. Diamond had never met another woman who addressed her with such fear, who thought she was a man. And Katie...Katie wasn't half-bad looking, either. They could get something good going. Yes, yes, she was liking that concept. Claiming that she, Dimitri, had a lady love was one thing, doing deeds in her honor was another, but actually having the woman as her own...now that was the most appealing of all. And after all, Katie was a little more than beautiful. Lust-inducing, almost. "As am I." She mumbled, one hand finding its way to Katie's waist, pulling her close and leaning in, for a kiss. His hand had found its way to her waist. But, as she always did, she kissed back. She enjoyed the feeling of the knight's lips on hers. He was a better kisser than some she had seduced. Katie had always enjoyed kissing. It was one of the most enjoyable parts of her seduction. Her own arms wrapped around Dimitri's waist as she slowly deepened the kiss. Her eyes fluttered closed again as she sighed in pleasure. This had to be one of the best kisses she had ever had. She now ran her tongue along the knight's lips, asking for entrance. Soon, if she wasn't careful, Diamond might just end up marrying her. Now, that would be hysterical. The look on Aden's face would be worth all the cat scratches in the world. And her father's face...or not. Whatever. Busy snogging. Unnecessary thoughts unwelcome. She felt her tongue against her lips and for a moment, she forgot herself, letting out a high moan as she drew Aden closer to her. No, wait, this wasn't Aden. Who needed him? She had this wench now. In response to her brain's unhelpful games, she not opened her mouth, but shoved her own tongue into Katie's mouth, wrestling harshly around. If she distracted herself, she wouldn't think about...him. i kissed a girl and i liked it the taste of her cherry chapstick i kissed a girl just to try it WORD COUNT: LISTENING TO: LYRICS CREDIT: I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry NOTES: [/blockquote][/blockquote] ![]() Sometimes I get so weird I even freak myself out I laugh myself to sleep it's my lullaby Katie moaned as their tongues battled. This was definitely the best kiss she'd ever had. No man had ever been so forceful, yet gentle. It was a truly amazing feeling. Bliss filled her body. She slid her hands up his back and entwined them in his hair. His hair was so soft. She pushed herself even closer, her heart pounding. But the need for air became too great and she broke away, gasping for air. She smiled at Dimitri, her cheeks flushed, her heart pounding, her eyes filled with pleasure. Then she looked away shyly, realizing she had acted very unladylike. She had to smile slightly as Lina started to purr, almost as if she sensed her mistress' pleasure. Diamond turned to face her new ladylove and she offered and placed a finger under her jawline, encouraging her to look up at her. The kiss had been an act of playacting necessity, but the moment that her finger touched upon the soft flesh of Katie's face, Diamond felt something odd jump in the pit of her stomach. An odd rush came to her cheeks as one hand came behind Katie's waist, rubbing her skin gently up and down. Something wasn't right here. And she liked it. And she liked it. Gazing up at Katie, she leaned in very quickly this time, aiming to catch her lips in another kiss, even more vicious than the last. And this time, her thoughts didn't stray to Aden Shawnson. i kissed a girl and i liked it the taste of her cherry chapstick i kissed a girl just to try it WORD COUNT: LISTENING TO: Bad Romance by Lady Ga Ga LYRICS CREDIT: I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry NOTES: it's cool [/blockquote][/blockquote] ![]() Sometimes I get so weird I even freak myself out I laugh myself to sleep it's my lullaby Two fingers lifted Katie's chin and an arm snaked around her waist. Katie was enjoying herself. She forgot her supposed 'maidenly shyness' and leaned into this next fierce kiss. Her tongue fighting for dominance against his. Katie's hands went back in Dimitri's hair, grabbing fistfuls of it to crush their mouths even closer together. Then she slid one of her hands down until it was resting on his lower back. Her body felt like it was on fire. Desire rushed through her. Dimitri's lips were so soft. This was all she could think. Thoughts of Dimitri consumed her mind. Even her cat and the fact that she was running away, were pushed from her mind, letting only Dimitri fill all her senses. ![]() this was never the way i planned not my intention[blockquote][blockquote] Normally, she was irritated when people touched her hair. It had hard enough to sit there and watch her long locks fall to the ground as What's-His-Name chopped it off so unceremoniously, but right then, she really couldn't care less while she had her tongue in Katie's mouth. She moaned appreciatively in the back of her throat and clung to the girl, desperately, passionately snogging her for one moment longer before she pulled away from the kiss. And then, against all of her cruel and sadistic instincts, Diamond blushed bright red, looked down, her eyes traveling to her bodice and then quickly looked back up at Katie's face, her cheeks reddening even more. If all that wasn't enough, the next thing Diamond did was grin rather foolishly and lean in, touching her forehead to Katie's. She fancied her. And, for the first time in her life, she didn't really care. In fact, she was happy, so incredibly happy. "M'lady..." She muttered. i kissed a girl and i liked it the taste of her cherry chapstick i kissed a girl just to try it WORD COUNT: 161 LISTENING TO: Fairytale by Alexander Rybak LYRICS CREDIT: I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry NOTES: I'd say, definitely not yet, but I think Diamond definitely has a crush on her, which I find unendingly amusing. ![]() Sometimes I get so weird I even freak myself out I laugh myself to sleep it's my lullaby Katie leaned against Dimitri with a sigh. She would enjoy her time with this knight, indeed she would. She found herself wondering how long she would spend with him. She never spent very long with the men she seduced. Usually she would grow tired of them after a few weeks. But Dimitri was the best kisser she had ever known. Maybe she would stay with him longer. "My lord.." She whispered, "Shall we eat, now? I am famished." She took a step back, smiling at Dimitri. She was rather hungry. She just hoped he wouldn't yell at the kitchen staff again. ![]() this was never the way i planned not my intention[blockquote][blockquote] It took a minute for Diamond’s brain to comprehend the words, “shall we eat now”. She blinked, trying to re-learn the English language in the space of a few seconds. After a moment of spazzing, she nodded. “Why, yes.” She started, and was horrified to find that her voice came out high and girlish unexpectedly. Clearing her throat hastily, she tried again. “Yes, m’lady. Let us make our way back to the inn.” She then did something both very stupid and very stupid. Reaching down, she attempted to pick Katie up, one hand around her knees and the other around her back, but Diamond’s knees buckled and her entire body wobbled unsteadily. After two seconds of holding Katie about five inches from the ground, Diamond leaned against Tiger, breathing heavily. i kissed a girl and i liked it the taste of her cherry chapstick i kissed a girl just to try it WORD COUNT: LISTENING TO: Uptown Girl - Billy Joel, cover by Westlife LYRICS CREDIT: I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry NOTES: It's no problem.
