SHETLAND ISLANDS
Located in the far north, over a hundred small islands are home to the forgotten farmers, with mixed blood of Scottish and Scandinavian, as they live their lives, unhindered and virtually unaffected by the chaos to the south. It is cold here and life is not a luxury, but the people are happy. Well, for the most part.

THE CELTIC SEA
Teaming with pirates and swashbuckling adventure-seekers, this is perhaps the place most free of the constraints of society. Women, victims of discrimination and criminals may find refuge on the waves.

THE KINGDOM OF SAOR
Also known as the Scottish Highlands, this land is home to a tough people with an unbreakable national spirit. They ride upon powerful horses and challenge their southern enemies at will, not letting them forget that they, the Scoailtes are a main player in this game of war.

THE KINGDOM OF THE HEBRIDEAN ISLES
Home to dragons and the people who tame them, this is a land of the air and of the wing, just as Saor is a land of horses and the hoof. West of the Scottish mainland, Hebrideans are fiercely protective of their Scottish Gaelic language and preserving their culture, although even now, it is being threatened as the kingdoms mobilize for war.

ISLE OF SKYE
The land of the illusive druids. Once upon a time, they had frequented all of Albion and her surrounding islands, but now they hide in this small island, the only isle in the Hebridean chain that does not belong to the land of dragons.

THE KINGDOM OF SCEITH
Also known as the Scottish Lowlands, it is home to a more "English-ized" culture. Not long ago, Sceith and Saor were one kingdom, and a powerful one at that, but then father and son fought bitterly and divided the two, leaving each side set against the other.

KINGDOM OF IRELAND
This is the Emerald Isle, simply reeking in beauty, culturally district and full of illusive sidhe, both malicious and benign. The king here is a mere boy, controlled by his advisers, who are, in reality, English spies sent by Uther Pendragon to bring Ireland under Great Britain's control.

THE KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN
England, the most powerful kingdom in the land, is home to the greatest population, density or no. There is a strict law against all forms of magic being practiced and the Catholic Church keeps a tight rein on the citizenry, terrified of the spread of ideas that could give their people license to stray from them. Heretics and witches are burnt at the stake and outlaws must flee and hide on the outskirts of the violence. Little does anyone know, that the Queen, Igraine Pendragon is a daoine sidhe herself and her sons and daughters are half mortal, half fae.

INGLEBOROUGH HEADQUARTERS
It is not so much as a kingdom as it is a mountaintop. Located in England, it is the headquarters for all banshees in good social standing and it is the only magical population center located within their borders that the mortal Britons know not to mess with. Three mountains rise out of the mist and below, spectacular caves are home to few who live there full-time, as the bean sidhe roam freely about Albion and her islands. Really, who's stupid enough to stop them?

THE PRINCIPALITY OF WALES
Home to sheep, humans, griffins and, yes, sheep, Wales is currently under the control of Great Britain, which has, characteristically placed a madman in charge as "governor". Strict rules are put in place over the native Welsh and those who marry a Welsh person. Still, the Welsh have not lost their spirit and an underground rebellion is brewing, its members harassing the English occupants as they see fit.

THE STRONGHOLD OF CORNWALL
Impossible to enter from the realms of mortals, Cornwall, also known as Otherworld, is a land of magic, ancient knowledge and corruption amongst the Council of the Fae. It's hard to get in, hard to get out and there's plenty of pretense, smoozing and nastiest to keep everyone occupied with the dramatics.

THE BRITISH SEA
Several hundred years after 1516, this place will be known as the "English Channel", but currently, it is inhabited by merfolk, their king and yes, you guessed it, fish. While they are not involved in the land-dwellers' conflict, they do keep non-Albions entering the isles by sabotaging the ships of the intruders.
