I know God has blessed me, and knowing the sinner that I am I have to wonder why. To stand as a light to others? Well he knows better than I. Despite a year of sinnin and behavior best not discussed he still gave me summer and the months that follow August. Fall is the season that fills my chest; Indian Summer has now come, that time I love the best. Here It Is; like a blessing, a sacrement or an exceptional wine. Once a decade, it doesn't happen all the time. Here It Is; a full moon and stars bright enough to blind, Frosty Morns and sunshine, long shadows amongst reddened vines. Here It Is; in red and yellow garb, a magic fortnight, maple leaves across the yard. Here It Is: Elk bellow thier ancient cry, I see them in the mist, a message from the ancients, ages gone by. Close enough to touch. Close enough to smell. The air, the light, the colors all do tell that this is a blessed moment and upon it we should dwell. He loves me, and you and you and you. He put us here to witness this, he made this month togive us bliss, a magic place and time to rest a bit and look around to his creations and learn again that his plan will win. Line your family-up take a deep breath and a snap-shot, hold them close and celebrate while we have this time, for winter's work comes upon us all. Edited by kenno, Oct 7 2009, 07:00 PM.
