I'm having a little trouble getting the links in the submenu to stay centered.

When a guest is viewing the forum, it's fine:

However, when a member is viewing it, it goes off center:

I'm guessing I screwed something up in the CSS, so here's the submenu portion:
Code:

#submenu_bar {
display:none;
}

#submenu {
background:url(http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd141/brainofpj/dropdownbar.png) repeat-x top #527293;
border:1px solid #ff8b00;
color:#ff8b00;
font-size:85%;
margin:0 39px 1%;
padding:7px 1%;
text-align:center;
}

#submenu a {
font-weight:700;
}

#submenu a:hover {
color:#ff8b00;
}

I think it has something to do with removing the submenu bar, because when I put it back, the text becomes centered. However, whether I remove it with "display:none;" or the more crude "height:0px;" the text goes off-center.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Add this to the CSS:
Quote:

#top_menu {
margin-bottom: 0;
}

Edit:
I should explain it for learning purposes :P

<ul> (unordered list) comes with a margin unless you 'turn if off' so to speak. #top_menu doesn't have it turned off, so the bottom margin under the links on the left is going to make anything directly under it shift off someplace else.
