Hi, Where can I enable or adjust the following. ![]() ZB is using it, in profile I can choose which browser i'm using and all. But there's more to it, I looked under profiles, board setup and all didn't see it. Also I applied some changes from the theme fix. Now my user profile isn't centered, what's the CSS line to correct it? http://img37.picoodle.com/img/img37/4/5/26/f_profilem_e5a279b.png On IE7 News & Discussion isn't centered either, looks fine on Firefox. What would be the CSS code to allign that? http://img37.picoodle.com/img/img37/4/5/26/f_centeringm_ca40c7b.png |

As to your first question, you can find these settings under 'Profile Fields' via the ACP. You'll have to wait for someone else with the other questions I'm afraid.

First is easy. Second... I have no idea why the cells not aligning with an entirely different table underneath it bugs you and a couple of others. That's all I can think of considering nothing in the category tables is 'centered' on the screen. Try adding this to the end of the CSS for the profile box:

Thank you, thought it would be under Preferences. @ Nicola, yes that centered it, the themefix only stretched it to 195px or 185 I forgot, but there wasn't anything in it to center it. A sollution seems hard for problem 3, as annoying as it is. Weird thing is it's probably IE acting up again, on FF no problem at all. If there is a sollution it would be nice, i'm trying to keep in mind that most of my users use FF/IE. Edited by Ambrosia, May 26 2008, 08:11 AM.

I *really* don't get why you and a few other people find that 'annoying'. It's like... 10px off. It's a table, and it has nothing to do with any other tables on the forum. The only thing that is different is it's content. Perhaps when a value in one of the cells is greater than that of other cell, it becomes wider. Who knows. Point is, there are worse things that could annoy you. If *that* annoys you in IE, you're going to have a bad internet experience when you see how badly IE screws things up on many other websites. Internet Explorer is a pathetic excuse for a browser I know that while viewing a forum which has a subforum shows some misaligned cells in IE, but it doesn't happen in other standards compliant browsers.Best solution: Get over it. I mean that in the nicest way Don't let it bug you. It makes IE win!

I wonder... You could try adding in a minimum width to the last table cells...
Almost certain it won't work but it's a principle all the same lol. |

Anyway to get those profile fields to use a single line instead of dumping things under eachother. This is how it looks currently. Age: xx EDIT: Didn't work by the way Shifty Going to try those cursors now. Edited by Ambrosia, May 26 2008, 09:17 AM.

Getting them onto one line isn't a good idea if you've got long field names, but okay. Step1: Find this snippet, remove it.
Step2: Find this snippet (past halfway)
Add the parts in bold red. |

Thanks, I skipped part one. I think I know what it would look like if I did that, so it's not needed. Also I shortened the 'what type of browser' line to make it fit on one line. Looks better now except the answers are . Can that be changed somewhere in the CSS? Or everything that goes after the question centered. Along with member type, member number, joined date etc etc There's alot of space from the middle to right side, that's why i'm wondering. Example, everything that's default would be alligned to the left. And all the additions/answers would be centered, so they fall nicely under eachother. If it's not possible, then no problem. Otherwise this thread can be considered solved. Edited by Ambrosia, May 27 2008, 07:00 PM.

There be the italic. If you want to make it bold, do font-weight: 700; |
