i tried browsing around and i didn't find any~ just wanna make sure i didn't miss anything... basically its a hidden post where members can see what's hidden if they replied.. uses [hide][/hide] tags in invisionfree and ipb forums.. is there a code for this? is someone planning to make a code for this? |

The problem is, that can easily be circumvented by viewing the source of the page. It's easy enough to make...but just as easy to defeat

That would only work if the user is looking at the generated source. There are two sources of a page: original and generated. When ctrl+u is pressed, the original source is shown, which is what the server serves to the browser. On the other hand, .remove() changes the generated source, which is only shown if you have an extension like firebug, or web developer, or if you highlight text, right click and choose view generated source. |

so there is one!? only... hidden posts can be viewed using source code? hmm i reckon you wont be able to see the hidden posts in invisionfree hack and ipb hack even if you view the source code~ |

You will be able to see the hidden posts in invisionfree. In IPB, on the other hand, it doesn't even output that part of the post unless the requirements are filled because IPB allows for the use of PHP. I guess you could encrypt the data onsubmit by sending it to a PHP script and then only decrypt it and show it if you need to...hmm. I'll look into it. |
