Giving every table a class would be a 3 line code. |

I was referring to giving every table it's own class Edit: Then of course, how do you make it say "except this table here with the ads" if you were to use 3 lines to give every table it's own class? And then what if you use tables in posts/blogs? |

That's easy as well.
In response to your edit: This isn't perfect, but

Okay so now you just need lots of CSS to style every individual table, which requires you to hunt around in all areas of the forum and find out which class is which...? I have to say this before it gets silly: Sith, get over it, it's one cell. It's not going to ruin your skins

See my edit; that's probably the best way to do it. I don't think any other native ZB table has an iframe. |

Maybe instead of contains, $("table").children("iframe").parent().attr("id", "google-ads"); That is, assuming what you have: that there are no other tables with iFrames. Edited by Chris, Mar 23 2008, 04:30 PM.

You've seen the amount of boards owners who think iFrames are cool, right? ![]() I still find this completely silly. It's a cell behind the google ads. Sith and others need to get over it and accept the fact the google ads are in a table with no id or class. |

Even though it's not a big deal, is there anyway to fix the Google ad problem without inserting a billion lines of coding that could possibly screw up other things? Somebody made me a skin a while back, and I don't really want to post the CSS, seeing as the skin was made for my forum. But the skin is a nice shade of blue with orange tables...... until you get to the bleach white Google Ad. If anybody thinks they can fix it, I'll PM them the CSS. But if there's any fix I can try with my minimal CSS knowledge, I'd be more than willing to try it. |

Actually, the color of the ads DOES ruin my skin. The skin I'm creating is pretty dark, so the white background of the google ads really sticks out. I'd like to have a fix for this too EDIT - Screenshot:
