I forgot to post this! Our computer in the master bedroom, Hailey was in the living room watching cartoons the second day we were here (or maybe third day). Anyways, my gut told me to check on Hailey and the door isn't closed all the way. SHE GOT OUT! She was talking to the lady next door saying "where is daddy?" Great way to meet the neighbor's right? I did some research on the door alarms when I did my speech for class (on pool safety). I really think that will be a good idea. Not that i'm neglecting her or anything...but she had a door in her room that leads to the patio. We have the safety handles on the door right now and those seem to work I'm just waiting for her to figure it out! |

you can never be too safe! And NO MOTHER can be holding their childs hand 100% of the time. (if they say they are they are lying!!) Glad the neighbor was there so at least she didnt get far! My fear is and prob will always be the street!! the times she got into the front yard I was jsut sick!!!! The thoughts of "what if" is the worst. |

Oh yeah - no way to hold her hand 100% of the time (and quite honestly I don't want to because then she'll be dependent on me to 100% of the time!) At least the lady has children and found out she's a teacher so she knows how silent and quick kids can be when up to no good! From the sounds of it, she had to have the chain locks installed and said the mgmt company will do it. Haven't talked to them yet, but we'll see..... |

the neighbors down the street came back with gabey one afternoon when we first moved in here. i had to put a hook on the door, so gabey couldn't get out. i was so thankful for good neighbors. |
