Last week, Monday or Tuesday the smart kid was picking her nose and ended up with a bloody nose. I told her if she didn't cut it out that would happen. Friday evening, she walked outside to say good bye to her friend and skinned her knee. It was the first "big" skinned knee. I mean she's falled and gotten cuts but nothing this bad - but its still just a typical kid thing. Then, Saturday evening when the cuts finnally get a scab she runs to me (our neighbors were watching her) and opens the scab back up. They are finnally starting to heal and the scabs going away. And she starts running in the hallway. I told her, and have told her forever "walking feet inside." Sure enough before I could even spit the words out - she falls and busts her the piece of skin or gum whatever between your top two teeth and your lip [does that make sense?] she also has a smaller cut above her tooth. She was dripping blood everywhere! It was bad! Thankfully, the blood was only on our clothes and the kitchen floor - none on the carpet. But she's a thumb sucker so what happens....she starts bleeding all over again when she sucks it. And she wont go to sleep without it. I caved and gave her a paci for now (I have a stash in her time capsule). She was so tired but couldn't go because she wanted to suck her thumb. Oh and somewhere in all that she busted her lip too. So she's had a fat lip for a few days, and now its back again!

I guess we're getting into that age where cuts, scrapes, bruises come in. She's always getting hurt doing something! I always tell her, "if you do that your going to get hurt." Sure enough she gets hurt. What can ya do?

OH MANNNN, poor litttle thing!
gabey had already had two sets of stitches by the time he was a year and a half. just kept falling and cutting his noggin. eek!

giddy is always falling.
it's funny how camden and giddy were both casualties at the party. amanda and i were talking about him needing a helmet, LOL.

i thought giddy had just cut his lip a little when he fell on the porch steps, but it turns out he skinned his chin really badly, and that was why there was blood on his collar. it's a dark scab the size of a nickel. he's such a toughie. he doesn't let things keep him down for long.
