Well, that article is one sided it seems like. I for sure think getting one size diapers or reusing materials found around the house are much better then say fuzzibunz or other diapers that you have to buy new for each size. There are also sites to resell diapers, and I know personally I will be reusing mine. I agree with hanging diapers to dry because it uses less electricity - and if you wash the diapers right. The water does need to be hot to kill germs, but IMO its worth the increase in energy. Personally, disposable diapers all irritated Hailey badly. So even if cloth isn't "green" in all aspects it is still worth it. Oh and hanging to dry in the sun already reduces oders and discoloration! |
