I hate moving. We moved from the only place Hailey has ever known. Before we left, she cried because her letters with her name came off her wall. We keep telling her we are going to put them back up. She has had a hard time falling asleep. She also thinks grandma lives upstairs. So we're on the 1st floor she tries to talk up to see her. NOPE! OH, and she also learned how to open the dang lock! So first thing when they open today I'm going to see if they can install a chain lock. She's not smart enough yet to pull a chair. We also got the door handle things. She hasn't figured that out. We had a woman's bible study and we were cracking up because she was trying so hard and just couldn't get it opened. Sigh. On a positive note: I am so glad we're gone from the townhouse! No more bad memories. None what so ever! It is a weight off my shoulders a peace throughout my whole body. The bedrooms are also so much larger! Before we could hardly fit our bed and 2 dressers. We have the computer desk and dog crate and STILL have more room! No having to squeese through! Hailey's room is the same way! The living room and dinning is a tad smaller but more economical. I love it! |

I always wondered how it would effect the kids if we moved. I hope she does better as you unpack and it feels more like home! |

My dad still gives us money - but we put it towards debt. We do not "need" it to make ends meet and we've told my dad this. Yet he still gives it to us. Long story. |

No, I told him a LONG time ago to stop b/c we could cover rent and he said no matter what he would give it to us. I always tell him you are under no obligation to give it to us. But now he says its for paying down debt so!...crazy. |

awww. yeah, it's bittersweet sometimes. but she'll be fine. :) i'm wondering how my kids will be when we leave here. i'm so excited. the funny thing is that the rooms there are smaller than here, but i'll be able to make them just that... BED rooms... no playing no nothing. they won't need to be big. |

Thats how I'm feeling right now. The bedrooms here are so much bigger but the dinning area doesn't hold all of Hailey's toys. So I had to put a bunch in her room. I don't want her room to be for play! LOL! Oh well. I still LOVE IT! I have go giggle. My grandfather doens't even have a key to the house, and had to call me to answer questions from the realitor! And he had no idea that portrait homes forgot a coil to stop condensation from leaking and it leaked through the ceiling. No idea! It amazes me! It is his property shouldn't he try to at least pretend he knows something about it! |
