The girl's birthdays are coming up... and then of course Christmas.... No one needs anything!!! Their rooms are stuffed with everything they could possibly need!! I'm at a loss. I want them to enjoy the holidays with gifts, but I dont even know what to get them!! I am going to clean out thier toys and do a major purge before the holidays so whatever they do get... they can put away! But I just dont know what to get!!

Plus aryanna is getting older now and wants real gifts! you know expensive things. :( Oye!!! She's not greedy, so she'll appreciate anything she gets. But I still want her to be excited. She wants an MP3 player... but i dont think she's quite ready for that. Last year she wanted a planatarium but we couldnt find a good one. (they are all junk)

Have any of you been thinking about the holidays and gifts?

hailey has everything a 2 year old could have and then some. For the holiday's I think I'm just going to ask for clothing and maybe will start a savings account for her. Clothes are always my favorite because I hate shopping for those! And kids grow so fast. SO that is my favorite.

i always ask for stuff that can be used up, like crafts, playdoh, and stuff like that. you could get mcd giftcards, and stuff like that... that will be used. or tickets to chuckee cheese.
we're doing a purge too. both birthdays are oct and nov, and then christmas... they get all the year's presents in just a few months.

Maybe a purse with a matching wallet, compact mirror and lip gloss in it. Hmmm....pretty earrings or necklace. Claires has some really cute stuff for kids.

I suggest an adventure. Find a something fun just the 2 of you would enjoy. My aunt has done that since Ryan was 5. The first year was Monsters Inc. on Ice, then it was an overnight to Splash Lagoon, then last year it was a wagon trail. She's a little more extravigant because she's grandma but you get the point. Those times are more special then any toy!

Or a memebership to a zoo or museum (if she's into that). One year I bought Ryan a memebership to our train museum. It was great for the whole family and we went ALL the time. I think it was only $30!

Oh ya I like the one on one idea! There are cheep things you can do and it still be special. I think Aryanna would enjoy that a lot since she's older. Justine may even be able to enjoy that too.

selfish reasons -but I really enjoy Hailey's b-day in June and Christmas in Dec, 6 months apart is great!
