Oh yeah - when it comes to diapers Huggies are amazing! I can only use those on Hailey. I hate Pampers ANYTHING, the get the beads on the kids butt and never want to come off [with pulls ups and one variety of the diaper - cruisers maybe?] |

I love Pampers! HAHAHA The only time I had issues with gel beads is if they were in their diaper wayyy too long, or the dog got one out of the trash and tore it up!!  Have you ever tried cleaning gel beads out of your rug? :jumpy: Never fun!!! |

I used disposables. I loved pampers even though I always used generic. I plan to cloth diaper this baby. So any suggestions Rach, I am all ears! |

Bum Genius one size my 1000000000% favorite! Cottonbabies.com They are expensive but believe me they last birth through potty training. They are pocket diapers - 2 pieces an insert and the diaper. The good thing with these is you can adjust. FOr example, if you have a heavy wetter add an insert or change the material of the insert. There are also All-in-One which is the closest to a disposable just longer drying time. Then fitted diapers [require a cover] and prefolds - cheepest route, but I hate pins and snappi's so I just stick with the above. We used Fuzzi Bunz and Swaddle Bees. no complaints for either. If you have a tax id - become a wholesaler! Seriously, I would not pay retail value. Or I would buy them used. They are just not worth the market value for them to me. And they are not one size so when the kid grows out of them you have to spent another $100-200 dpending on how often you wash. I spent $200 [for 2-3 days worth of diapers...yes I am crazy!], and will NEVER EVER have to buy diapers again in my entire life. I *LOVE* these diapers. Most people say BG is bulky, and sure for a newborn that is a few days old it might be - but no cloth diapers fits perfect right away. And Hailey is a skinny thing and there is a difference between swaddelbees [very narrow] and BG - but they both work the same way and the bulky doesn't bother her or me. Its cosmetic. And when I'm saving a pack of diapers every other week I'll take it. They pay for themselves fairly quickly too. If you have more then one in diapers the one size can work for both [not sure if you plan to have more kids, or are potty training]. ok i'll stop rambling. I have some girl small fuzzi bunz (pinks and purples). NOT unisex! But can post some pics if you want to see them on [the website just give a photo of the diaper alone - I like to see it on and how it fits]. |

Man - I go through idapers like mad [either way]. I always check every hour. If its just a tad I'll leave it but I generally change every 2 hours. Then again, one of the kids is getting ready to potty train and wants the wet diaper off as soon as she goes. |
