I host a social women's group so I get many ladies to sign up to join as members but only one actually participates . So I'm trying to find a way to get more ladies to want to join in & actually participate in the outings. I offer many things and even welcome suggestions but still I only get one person to show up . So I'm like what do I do because I would love to have more ladies to join in & that we could be able to do some volunteering for rescues, animals shelters, bring some treats to rescue mission/gateway domestic violence house ,etc My time is flexible so I try to do weeknights like M-F, lunches during school days, exercise outings, dinners on weekends. Age is not an issue as long as they are adults so anyways I'm not predjudice either . I even state that I would even be do a couple family outings . Also, it don't matter to me if these ladies are like a mom , not a mom, engaged, married, dating, or not dating so I welcome any group of gals. |

We have small groups at our church, and the biggest issues for me is a commitment. I don't really have the time to go each week, but like a monthly outing (ladies night out, or something) usually works out much better for me. As much as I love doing community service projects, I have so much other stuff giong on in my life right now to really be able to do something like that. Of course that is just my thought process. I wonder if any of the ladies are thinking the same things. |

I belong to a local woman's group.... and we have the SAME issues with participation. Lots of women sign up, and only a few show up! Wish I had suggestions... we havent figured it out. I think women just get busy and over obligate themselves, or maybe get shy. I dunno. Good luck though!!!! I hope the group grows for you!! |

You know what interesting this one playgroup of kids who offered a bunco nite out at least 2 x times one of the gal who was actually a member actually hosted a get together at her house for the bunco dinner/games. I even said we could do game nite at someone house with food but no one even said yes to my game nite in august or at the santa fe red in sept but that playgroup actually got 12 ladies to show up for a game nite out and the 2nd time 8 ppl. I'm like what in the world but of course they know each other more of the playgroup outings but with brendan being in much school I didn't get to mingle with them much . Also, maybe I should change the variety but I wanted it to not be discriminantory of women age group or women who are not mothers but maybe that's the issue . The 2 people who do show up are not mom's like me or the older group of people that think maybe this group is too young for them. |

I belong to MOMS Club and that was always an issue, too! Now I am one of the ones that don't go. It's time restraints! |
