I've been on a weight loss kick. Since we got back from FL -- about a month now. I've lost roughly 7-10 pounds. Dh *never* says anything about my weight. EVER! Well, I was weighing myself and made a random comment "wow, does the scale really say THAT?!" He said "ya, you can tell your losing weight (As he grabbed my sides) there isn't as much right here to grab." LOL!

The only thing I've done differently is drinking at least 64 ounces of water. I was reading in a book that a lot of people will snack because they feel hungry all the time or whatever, when really your not drinking enough water and *Feel* hungry. So I've curbed my snacking A LOT because of that...and if I drink 64 ounces of water like you are supposed to I really don't feel hungry as much. I've also been watching portions and packing fresh fruits and veggies in my lunch. I can tell a huge difference - I work a tighter fitting shirt for the first time in awhile and I didn't feel the need to suck in my tummy like normal.

water also helps flush out your system. so you lose alot of weight in the begining. A lot is water weight, but its still weight!!

Thats what a book said that I read....you gotta drink the water to flush out your system. Even though it tastes like crap, God made water for a purpose so I guess I must learn to love the taste of water! LOL! That has always been my excuse to drink soda "Well water just tastes so plain!" Well, soda is full of HFCS, other sugars, fats, etc.

even diet pop is bad for you!! (worse than regular) so drink water if you can! Buy some lemons!! Josh's grandma slices up lemons and puts them in a pitcher of water in the fridge. The lemons add taste to the entire pitcher. And its not adding anything bad.
