Red Ants

These things are terrible! On Sunday, I stepped out of my car into an ant hill. I'm terribly allergic to red ants. My poor toes have been throbbing, swollen, and just look awful. Its two bites that I can "see" but all of my toes are swollen and have rays of pain through my entire foot. The two bit spots are raised, hard, and purple.

I took H to urgent care over a flipping spider bite, but these look a ton worse! I hope by the time Thursday rolls around I'll be able to wear sandals again!

I have a scar on my toe from where a red ant bit me when I was 2 years old. I actually remember it vividly!!!

They are so mean!

I have a scar on my upper leg from an ant bite a few years ago. My doc said, if I didn't SEE the ant bite me he would have guessed a spider bite. It was larger then my hand in a matter of minutes. I ended up on two different antibiotics and benadryl (The pill, not topical cream stuff). It was BAD!
