Seriously! I'm looking at my award letter from the 2008-2009 academic year (which just ended, we're going into the 2009-2010 academic year in August). Anyways, I've meet minimum GPA (mine is 3.69, minimum is 2.5), I've passed with A's mind you, every single class I've registered for. I just revied my email about verification (no date I had to send paperwork in by - so I have waiting until we got all our tax info together which was in March - but still was waiting on an updated transcript and program evaluation). So, now I've got 30 days to file my appeal. So I emailed the director of the FAFSA department and she said I didn't meet the stilpulations specified in my award letter. WHAT STIPULATIONS? And at that, my fafsa is denied for the summer session. Ummm, hello moron - I have 3 flipping classes left and they are not offered over the summer b/c only full time instructors teacher them and they are on contract from August to May! Oh and I should mention, in the past when I've had to do verification (I do it every single year! Nothing new) I always wait until late to do it. Typically I turn it all in, in August the week before school starts! So I'm on the ball that I have it all in an envelope ready to go. I'm so lost and confused.
