Will we finish everything tonight?
That's an idea I'll consider. Any other thoughts? If not that, what about today AND tomorrow?
Either is fine with me.

This actually re-energizes me. My clippers were in bad shape with not a lot of ways out.

My activity even waned some.

Starting fresh is amazing for me.

Creation draft would be fun, but historical rosters are good too. If it's cool, I'd like to be a different team, preferably the Blazers if that's alright with yesisme.

Actually, now that I think about it, a creation draft would be awesome. My Summer is ending but definitely something that sounds interesting

Though yeah, if its historical rosters, still definitely gungho about it.

I dunno if creation draft is such a good idea. Do you remember the massive amounts of inactivity that came after the draft? The league was a ghost town for a couple seasons.

true, but it's still an idea. Maybe we can have a vote?

Yeah I remember but was the ghost town because of the creation draft. I remember the creation draft initially caused a buzz of activity.

Though what I thought sucked was that all first rounders were locked up to deals.(even with the +1 -1 for a few guy) It made free agency for the first two or 3 seasons or so irrelevant. I mean everyone wants at least the "dream" of getting a star player in FA and expiring stars are more likely to be traded. That might have slowed activity.

Other possibilities that affected activity were that GMs already have the players they want(though with the creation draft order, this factor can be overrated) and the fact is it was retro.

Though 2000 creation draft would surely have more activity though because of the modern players.

For people like Will and Nick, as well as dnom, it sucks a bit I'm sure, especially Will and that team.

However, I was a little ignorant in my ways last season to believe activity would just jolt, and I was wrong. A fresh restart would be perfect for the league.

Good work Dave, Ray, and to start the league Brian.

It is probably for the best, maybe voted a bit selfishly last time because I like the team that I have built but activity has dropped lately, including mine too but I have been a busy. I dont think anyone can really argue that a restart is the best option now unfortunately.

Also wanna say well done to Slash, If im honest I wasnt sure how the league was gonna be after Brian stepped down running it but youve done a great job.

We're going to stick with historical rosters. I'm a bit leery of the inactivity after our creation draft. The salaries will be relatively historical (we might not be able to reproduce everything 100%, but it'll all make sense), and the ratings will definitely be SSBL-worthy.

Going historical is faster and easier to manage, and I think on Ray and my part, we want to get the next SSBL up and running as soon as possible.

Best idea hands down. This is no shock to me as the activity was sucking, especially this season. Looking forward to a fresh new start!

Haha yea sucks to be losing this team but I think everyone can see that a re-start is the best thing for the league. Happy to of been apart of it and been the most successful team in SSBL V3.

Not sure I'll stick with the Hawks in the new league, wasn't the greatest period to be associated with the Hawks lol.
