Everyone, please take a look at the updated regular season schedule. Here's a link for your convenience. UPDATED SCHEDULE I'm not feeling confident that the hours I've selected for simming make the most sense; uniformity makes the most sense. What I tried to do is make sure that I'm simming at times on the scheduled days that I know for certain that I am free. In the past, I have tried to have some live sims at times that work for GMs on other parts of the world. Whenever possible, I will try to have a live sim or two for this reason. To me, it's also a great opportunity to talk trade. But in general, it might be detrimental to GMs in different time zones or with difficult schedules when sim by sim, the time of the sim changes. After some reflection on this, I think it's better to have an established routine. From now on I'm going to maintain a clear uniformity. 10 PM EST, unless otherwise posted (changes occur because of scheduling changes in my own life). 10 PM is generally a time that I'm free. Obviously there will be a few occasions in which a sim might happen later than scheduled, but it will never happen earlier than scheduled. I would have liked to find a time that's earlier, but my morning/early afternoon schedules are a bit too varied to really find a consistent time, unless a sim falls on a weekend. Since Sim 6 is now at 11:30 PM EST, I'm extending the camping deadline to 11:00 PM EST. A second point of interest is that from now on, I'm going to be coordinating this league's schedule a little bit with SSBL tomorrow (the Ocho as I call it; if you can pinpoint the movie I'm hinting at, you get a prize) to implement Dnom's suggestion... Many of us are in both leagues. This way, there will be interest in both leagues, but never at the detriment of the other. So if Brian sims Monday Wednesday Friday, I do Sunday Tuesday Thursday or something like that. As always, we're working to make SSBL one of the best around. Many of you have been really helpful there by being active and good GMs as a whole. From my end, as a still somewhat new commissioner, I think (re)establishing a routine sim time is best. We'll always take input, but any idea must pass the litmus test of being beneficial to a supermajority, if not all of the GMs here. |

Sounds like a good idea to alternate dates with the other league. Also dont worry too much about people in other time zones like me just stick to what best suits you. |
