Name: Locke M. Fortas Age: 24 Gender: Male Height: 5’ 9” Weight: 160 lbs. Eye Color: Red Brown Hair Color: Brown Birthplace: Side 3 Date of Birth: November 1st, UC 0056 Appearance: Fortas is tall and a handsome looking guy. Like all men enrolled in the military he has dark and glaring eyes, his hair is cut short and kept tidy. And finally he is always seen walking upright with back always dead straight.  Personality: Locke Fortas is always serious. He hardly ever cracks a joke and if anyone around him does crack a joke they are immediately met by Fortas' piercing glare. Tactics is all that occupies his mind. Making Fortas a busy body, he is often found in the corner reading up on strategy, pacing around mobile suit hangers, in his suit’s cockpit or playing chess (with himself most of the time). When it comes to military maneuvers Fortas can appear arrogant as he believes no one knows tactics better than him. And with tactics he is very competitive, even to the point of ignoring orders if they seem foolish to Fortas. Because of this Fortas has grown up with little to no true friends. Biography: Locke Fortas was born on November 1st UC 0056, Side Colony 3 and immediately thrown into poverty and abandonment. Fortas at a very young age was left at an orphanage by his parents, simply due to the fact that his parents saw him as a mistake and nothing more. However, the people that became his family on Side 3 Orphanage, for a short time helped Fortas forget what unfortunate state he was born into. Fortas was an obedient and quiet child, books where his only true friends. He would often read about ancient heroes and generals. Tales of their great battles and challenges filled his head. Soon he became obsessed with the idea of being a courageous warrior! When the Principality of Zeon was founded in UC 0068 and the Zabi family took control in UC 0069, Fortas’ life would change forever. Due to the Zabi need for soldiers, Fortas’ orphanage was taken under military personal in order to train the children to become soldiers. It seemed Fortas’ dream of being a warrior would come true. Locke Fortas was now 12 years old. His day now began with morning drills and night tactics classes. Many of orphanage friends longed for the days when the school was a school and not a military drill center. But, Fortas’ took all that the military drill sergeants could offer. He listens to their every word, every word! Their commands, their tactics and their philosophies over the autonomy of the colonies. Locke was effectively allowed himself to get brain washed by Zeon propaganda and philosophy. Soon his drill sergeants noticed his potential as a Zeon pilot. At the age 17, Fortas’ was now being trained as Zeon pilot and Squadron leader and now instead of being taught at the orphanage turned military school, he was attending the Zeon Academy of Military Strategy and Tactics. The very same school Garma Zabi and Char Aznable attended. By the year UC 0079, Fortas had graduated from the academy and had become a established Squadron leader at the age of 23. He controlled a team of 7 suits. When the One Year War broke out Fortas participated in many battles. The most note worthy are Battle of Loum, Operation British and A Boa Qu. After the war Fortas had fallen into deep depression. With the war over Fortas believed that his place in society was gone. He had come to realize that the battle field was the only place he felt alive and human. After a short time as a History teacher in Van Bruan City he found out that a small contingent of the Zeon fleet was still alive. Fortas immediately dropped his job and once again wore his zeon captain’s uniform and traveled into far reaches of the Earth Sphere to find them. There he found the Delaaz Fleet and officially became one of Neo Zeon’s new squadron commanders. Faction: Neo Zeon Locke M. Fortas Squad Leader. Neo Zeon 13th Division. But, is a very talented newtype pilot. (When he can be bothered though) Bradley Tavistok: Born on Side 3, Bradley is a One Year War veteran and a exemplary soldier. He admires Locke a lot. Jason Yokinning: Born On Side 3, son of a rich Moon Merchant, he ran away from home and joined Neo Zeon. He is brash, impulsive and arrogant. He frequently argues with Locke but usually loses. Shinji Amato: Born on the Moon, his father was a Zeon pilot that died at A Boa Qu. Actually Locke knew his father, but he keeps this fact secret from him. Locke treats Shinji like his own son. Shinji is quiet and a bit of a emo. Sandra Badfin: Born on Side 3, Sandra is a tom boy to the max. Over powering and stubborn. |
