Do you own a music studio? Or do you have everything you need all built-in to your computer or inside some software? Personally, I use GarageBand, which has all the modifiers I'll ever need. Well not all of them; but many of them. I especially like the synth sound capabilities. It gives you very nice control. |

Hm... Owning a music studio is becoming less and less important in my opinion... I to use Garage Band, but i also use GuitarPro5 and Audacity |

Its very good. It has heaps of inbuilt scales so you can write heaps of music! I used to use Powertab, but that is so much worse. It also produces awesome sound once you download the RSE |

What kind of recording does it support? Line in or just microphone? |

It doesn't support recording, it is for writing the tabs etc, and then uses the RSE to produce realistic sounds. For recording i use either GarageBand or Audacity |
