Do you own a music studio? Or do you have everything you need all built-in to your computer or inside some software?

Personally, I use GarageBand, which has all the modifiers I'll ever need. Well not all of them; but many of them. I especially like the synth sound capabilities. It gives you very nice control.

Hows that working out? I've heard a lot of things about GuitarPro5, is it good?

Its very good. It has heaps of inbuilt scales so you can write heaps of music! I used to use Powertab, but that is so much worse. It also produces awesome sound once you download the RSE

What kind of recording does it support? Line in or just microphone?

It doesn't support recording, it is for writing the tabs etc, and then uses the RSE to produce realistic sounds. For recording i use either GarageBand or Audacity
