I set up these boards because I have a real passion for music.

I haven't really found many good, casual music forums. Most of those out there are attached to some huge company which really only cares about their members in terms of numbers. These forums, however, were built in the hopes that they would be able to create a community in which people share their ideas about music in all shapes and sizes and discuss them with other cool people they meet during their time here.

Who knows; you may even find someone with whom you want to team up and make a collab! Or, if you're a musician looking for projects to work on, post your music here, get some great comments on it, and direct people to the threads to show them off the bat what others think of your music. If you're just starting out, get to know some people and start posting around to learn what the community has to teach you about the world of music.

The forums may seem a little empty now, but I know with your help we can build an amazing place where composers are able to show their true creativity.

After having let these forums die, I decided to resurrect them. This is for a number of reasons; first and foremost, I remembered my desire to participate in a casual music-related forum. In addition to that, I realized I needed a "base of operations" for my own music design, and I decided I would kill two birds with one stone. So during your time mingling with the community here, you can also find information related to my own projects in the appropriate forums.

As you can see, I added quite a few new forums for more specific music topics.

And before you think about it, yes, we are looking for some moderators. As people start joining these forums, I will be watching their behavior to see if they would make good mod material, and then promoting them as I see fit. If you want to be a mod, some good ideas would be the following:

Affiliating
Referring your friends to the forums
Posting new threads and replying to current ones
Being respectful and mature (very important)

This may seem a little political, but that's just the way things go. If this community is going to be successful and become fun for everyone, we need more members and connections, and that's not going to happen through just me alone. I need your help; the community needs your help.
