Serious Debate Rules

Keep this forum mature. We want lots of discussion but personal attacks aren't cool. Topics won't be strictly moderated, but it's a good idea to stick to the following guidelines when posting:

1. You don't have to "Respect the other's opinion" because most people wouldn't anyways. And besides, it's debate, not "respectful disagreement", right?

2. Tell why. Why are you taking a certain side of the debate? What compels you to believe this and not that?

3. Back it up. Usually you want to make sure your claims are backed up i.e. by an internet link.

4. Remember, don't feed the trolls.
