Xbox just went down the shit pipe had it for me birthday last year which was Dec so to me its less than a year old where do i stand on getting MS to repair it? Found a number gonna give zee fookers a call 2 moz *Grumble Grumble*

warranty covers you for 3 years. i hate dealing with them on the phone so i just use the website. they send you a printable ticket for dhl so you just phone them to arrange pick up. the whole thing normally takes 2 weeks.

?reply to what? in my expierience the best way to deal with these fuckers is online. i've had a nightmare with one woman at the call center who just wasn't digging my lovely scottish accent. register your xbox serial number to your xbox.com account, here then click on the request a repair link. request a dhl ticket by email then just print off the ticket, stick it to your packaged up xbox, phone dhl and they'll come and pick it up. like i say it's usually fixed and returned within 2 weeks. |

sorry to hear that boomer mate when mine packed up about a month ago i phoned the tech assist line .. uk obviously ..lol.. but they were superb mate , sent me out tickets and packed it away and sent it via U. P .S .. i didnt have any troubles with em , they were really helpful, its just a pain being without it for 3 weeks have ya tried unplugging everything , wires and hard drive and putting it all back together ...sometimes that does it .. |

yeah if you've requested a repair they do. my work has a fucked machine at the mo but there was no room on the chopper for me to take it back or i'd know for sure exactly the steps to take. it's been a while since any of the machines in my care have been fubarred. once i get the bairns one registered that'll be 6 logged in my name. |

do they think the problem is the console or the PSU Boomer ?? can u troubleshoot wiv another PSU ?? ive had to return 360s 7 or 8 times (always dealt with the challenge via phonecall) If u use phone be prepared to constantly repeat yourself , and just when u think its sunk in they throw a curveball question at you leaving you wondering if they were listening ... My experience has been generally very good (bar 1 return) most times i got the bits needed to return within a cpl of days and often had a working 360 winthin 7-10 days , only once did they loose one and we was waiting 2months in total :( good luck mate !!!! throw the dice ;) |

Called once she sed it was the power supply cause it stayed Orange/Amber when powered up, after a few tests. She said they will send a new power supply out within 10 days. Messed about myself after she went and it powered up fine so i called again (not wanting power supply to arrive 10 days later only to find its the xbox and wait 2 - 3 weeks more) Told the guy im having 1 red then 3 red lights etc he said we'll email you the UPS stuff and send it back to us. Didnt troubleshoot with me or anything just said the repair will be free and after repair the warranty would be started over. Had it in my inbox this morning so all sorted fast so far. |
