Hows all your countries going so far? Canada just got 3 medals after going the first 7 days without anything. We've been sucking ass and tits. |

check out the BBC website for the best coverage (probably - lol ) here is the interactive medal table (click on each nation for a breakdown) medal table my only thoughts on the medal-a-thon hype is that altho Phelps is obviously a fantastic athelete does it make him the greatest olympian ??? Yes he has a speedo trunk full of gold medals , but its not like in running where u cant do .... 1 legged , backwards , fairysteps 50m/100m etc etc - there is just too many opportunities to win gold in swimming !! id consider Carl Lewis n Steve Redgrave higher n most great decathaletes TBH |

Wow just had a check and we now have 11g 6s 8b, in 3rd place based on number of golds and 5th based on total. Doing really good considering that we were aiming for 8th position overall. |

we are aiming for 41 medals (46 being exellent for UK)- which was a shock - last saturday TeamGB hoped for 5th place and Colin Jackson reckoned 4th - i see Germany and Rusia catching us , but thanks to a lack of dominence in the pool by the Aussies we should stay above them :-) why are we called GB when that title dosent include Ulster/NI who are in team GB LOL |
